Adventure: Get Me to the Church on Time (DM: BenBrown, Judge: Renau1g)

OOC: Note: If the big spider is not dead from this attack, let me know, and I will use one of my encounter free actions to increase the damage. Also, out of curiousity, I have two free powers that trigger on hit. Do you think I can use both on the same hit?
OOC: I would think you could. Neither of those things is a separate attack, so they don't run afoul of whatever clumsy free action attack restrictor is current.

OOC: I'd also like to say that this is the first adventure I've played on this board where the players have started trash-talking about each other's damage.

I like it.

"Enough of this!" Zardi screams at the spiders in front of him. He steps forward, and pivoting on his heel, he swings his giant axe in an great arc around him. The big spider is narrowly missed, but the Herd Spider takes the full brunt of the attack. He then straightens up and prepares himself for the coming retaliation.

OOC: Big Spider: I think we're at 37 + 25 + 22 + 15 = 99. Good Job!

At the end of his charge, Jarro wrenches the huge blade upwards, cutting a deep gouge in the large Spider. Drawing blood on the creature, he jokes, "Now dis issa 'ow ya attack a Spidah!"

[sblock=Actions]
Free: Power Strike: 1d12=10

And if you let me use both at the same time,
Free: Furious Assault: 1d12=5

[/sblock]

GM: I think, since Furious Assault does not have an "attack" line, nor is it listed as an "attack power" I'll let you use both.

Perin watches as the spider and his companions weave back and forth in a deadly combat, seeing an opening Perin lashes out with a lighting bolt, but only succeeds in scorching the ground beneath the spider. Watching again, Perin sees a second opening and launches a pulsing ball of force at the spider, but the spider seems unphased by it. Seeking a strategically better place to launch attacks from, Perin retreats behind his allies.

[sblock=ooc]I think I'll leave him to you guys and handle the little ones ;p[/sblock]

OOC: Yep. The to-hit and damage are pretty awesome, but he's a one-trick pony. An army of minions could take him out, since he has no burst powers and weak defenses.
