"Not so fast scaly!" taunts Muzdum as he hacks at Mangroove again, as the reptile retort to the goliath. He nimbly moves behind the were creature, with the creature's tail in his huge hand. "Com'n 'ere!" he says, as he pulls him towards him, and slams his face with the grip of the battleaxe, sending him to the ground. Once on the floor, he raises his axe and chops at him brutally.
"Now stay there before I get REALLY mad."

[sblock=Actions] The first part of the text is fluff for the AoO:

Muzdum hits for 15, and Mangroove is grabbed. Also, Muzdum hits him again using Combat Agility for 11 dmg this time, and knocks Mangroove prone.

Then Muzdum uses slash and pummel: Hits the first strike for 11 because Mangroove is prone, misses the secondary attack for extra 7 dmg.[/sblock]

[sblock= OOC; Catching up]
>One Endurance check for Filth Fever at end of previous encounter, 1d20+8= 10 (fail, drops to Stage 2); roll Roll Lookup
>Probably no Endurance or skill checks for travel/skill challenge, but I can roll them if the GM wants.
>Rikka moves fast enough and has enough Perception to be able to track and catch up to the main PC group without trouble, so I'm ready to join up at the GM's discretion
>Rikka will spend one surge after the last combat to get to 49/50 with ?surges left

GM: (from iphone)
pathfinderq1: Welcome back! I'm glad you're finally situated.

I'll have you join up right after the current encounter. I did mention that signs were left as to mark the trail (and with your crazy perception you can hear the sounds of melée ahead).

Everyone: I'll post next round tonight after work.

Croc-Attack: Round 3
[sblock=Previous Rounds]Round 1
Round 1a
Round 2[/sblock]
The tail smacks solidly into the dwarf, but he stays on his feet. "Oye, elf! Ye want to beat the lizard or take out the baddie?"…

"Let loose ye filthy puddle of sh*t!" says Muzdum, getting free from the were-man's bite, and moves to a more advantageous position. "Hit'im hard big guy!" says the dwarf…

"At your command." says goliath as he swings his weapon. It crunches on the scales leaving bloody impact point where the scales were forced into the flesh. He then moves closer to the dwarf and calls upon very stones of the cave which respond by granting him and the dwarf their hardness. (CRIT)

Mangore accepts the hit from the goliath, and manages to swing his sword at Orsik in retaliation. ”Aye dwarf, yer pet sure does have a bite! Ya best tell him ta wait his turn ‘afore I really get mad!”
[sblock=Immediate Reaction]Orsik’s attack triggers Mangore’s Monstrous Retort: Mangore takes only half damage from the triggering attack (23/2=11 damage) and can make a MBA against any creature adjacent to it.

MBA (Khopesh) against Orsik (AC 21): +15 vs. AC; 2d6+5 damage and Orsik is marked TENT: 1d20+15=34, 2d6+5=12 HIT for 12 damage and marked TENT.[/sblock]
Quan's swarm shies away from the visejaw…

Braddock rounds his craghammer at the crocodile after the tail nearly knocks him over, but the swing goes wide. By a lot "Sorry laddie, he's still in the way." (MISS)

Quan's swarm returns to the form of a man on the opposite side of Braddock. No problem, the bigger they are... as he sweeps the legs out from under the croc and kicks it away while leaping to stand near Braddock. (HIT)

"Not so fast scaly!" taunts Muzdum as he hacks at Mangore again, as the reptile retort to the goliath. He nimbly moves behind the were creature, with the creature's tail in his huge hand. "Com'n 'ere!" he says, as he pulls him towards him, and slams his face with the grip of the battleaxe, sending him to the ground. Once on the floor, he raises his axe and chops at him brutally.
"Now stay there before I get REALLY mad." (HIT, HIT & HIT)

Mangore shakes as his lycanthropic blood heals some of his wounds (Mangore regenerates 5 hit points).

”Get off me , fool dwarf!”, Mangore yells as he stands up. He definitely appears winded and wounded, but not out. He quickly spins on his heel to strike out at Orsik and Muzdum. (MISS & HIT)

The giant crocodile rights itself after the elf monk tripped it. It snaps its massive jaws at Quan.

OOC: jsb420, did you account for DR 5 for Muzdum as you did for Orsik? Voda Vosavulnerability 2 for Mangore? and Rune of Mending bonus?

PROTECTION: all allies adjacent to Orsik gain DR 2 (Quan and Braddock)
all allies get +1 all defenses TENT
Mangore is dazed TENT

NOTE: If you didn't use it yet, +2 to damage is valid for this round due to Mal's rules

Orsik doesn't comment on Mangore's jabs, but his weapon glows brighter as he brings it down. A clap of thunder blasts the croc almost thugging him out of Muzdum's hands.

"Here, Muzdum, this will help some." goliath draws a quick rune, this one bright blue which settles onto a dwarf removing some of his injuries. The rune tinkles like a crystal and pieces of it fly to everyone in Orsik's group, putting thin layer of extra defense over them.
"I trust you can finish him by yourself, it seems Quan and Braddock miss Rikka."

Orsik moves over his mere presence causing big croc to lash out with more caution then strenght.

[sblock=Actions]
Standard: Divine Rune of Thunder vs AC (Mangore); damage with vulnerability (1d20+12+2=33, 2d6+6+3+2+2=18) - Mangore is pushed 2 (I choose 1 so I don't break the grab to Q10) and dazed TENT, no more interrupts :devil:
Minor: Rune of Mending (Protection) on Muzdum heals surge + extra healing (1d6=3) - everyone gets +1 all defenses TENT
Move: N9

"What? Am I too much of a challenge fer ye little lizard? Take this!" Repeating the pulling the tail and smack in the head, Muzdum delivers a quick punch, and then gripping the axe with both hands, he slashes at the were crocodile in a flash.

Slash and pummel: 26 vs AC for 19 dmg, and 31 vs AC for 9 extra dmg total of 28 using the +2 to dmg Orsik grants. Muzdum heals 15+3: all damage

"Hold down the fort there, laddie. I'll be right back."

Braddock circles north so he can get around behind the were-croc, then charges with a brutal yell, slamming his hammer into its back.

It appears that under the assault of the goliath and two dwarves, the were-croc falls lifeless. (edited*)

[sblock=actions]
Movement: to N-8
Standard: Charge with Eldritch Strike vs. Mangore: 1d20+12+1+2, 1d10+9+1d6+2 → ([19, 12, 1, 2], [1, 9, 6, 2]) Roll Lookup . Forgot about the brutal 2 again, so here is the minimal damage roll: 1d10.minroll(3) → [3] = (3) Roll Lookup . So hit AC 34 for 20 damage.
Due to movement, gain partial concealment.

Quan slams both hands into the sides of the vicejaw's head, knocking it aside. Then he twists to escape its grasp. Moving next to Orsik the elf become a dispersed swarm again.

Move: Escape, shift to N9
Minor: Wildshape to swarm (DR 2 from Orsik)

OOC: Assuming everything happens as expected and Mangore dies: Pact boon: Prime shot bonus equals +3. Also due to being a vestige adept, Braddock can switch to any recent vestige after his pact boon triggers.

Braddock's hammer aura changes from dark green to purple.

A small stuttering laugh escapes his lips, "He-he-he-he"
