Edit: For the record, that's a yep for being for Cade's proposed nightwatch, not for assuming whatever you want to assume. But I don't like logistics (eventhough I've been involved in them), so if it moves stuff along faster, make whatever assumptions you want. Especially if it involves us gaining lots of xp.

*The group uses Cade's watch suggestions, making it through the night and continuing along the road. They make it for three more days without a problem, catching 7, 10, and then 11 people's worth of food each day. On the fourth day, however, the path ahead is blocked by two gray renders engaged in mortal combat with a band of ten hobgoblins, with a small human child cowering in the midst of the melee and hoping not to die.*

*There's no opening for Cade. He'd have to kill some of the hobgoblins and/or renders or ride past them through their squares and hope to avoid attack. It is not readily apparent whether the little girl is being ignored or protected, although Cade's guess is that she is being ignored.*

Cade reddies his lance, but continues to watch and analyze. He knows this will take teamwork, and he's quite sure he wants little to do with those hulking gray things.

"Yes, I may attack the ones closest to the child with my arrows. With luck, they will be drawn here instead of to the child." Anton readies his bow and aims an arrow.
What am I aiming at, by the way? I'm hoping a Hobgoblin. Knowledge (Nature) +6 to know ... yeah, that works.
