OOC: I found the official SRD DC for a foraging check at full speed here. It's quite high, 40 and providing supplies for one other party member per +2 by which the DC is exceeded. The other epic usages for skills are pretty sweet.
(OOC: OK, the good thing is that the only thing that would be invalidated by that is Rillian's squirrel, since Scun and Somac found most of the stuff anyway. For the rest of the trip, I'll just have Scun and Somac search--they seem to be pretty awesome at getting enough food anyways)

Over dinner, Scun seems to be in a happy mood. He takes special care to make sure that the food gets divided and that everyone has some. "Friends, there are few things finer than traveling the open road, living from the land and spending time with good folks."

*After eating a delicious dinner courtesy of Somac and Scun (and maybe Rillian if he wants to share that miracle squirrel he caught), the group needs to make a firm decision on watch order, and then it will be time to rest.*

ooc: Scun has darkvision and would be most useful on the darkest watch. Also, he has endurance and sleeps in his armor, for the record.

I am fine with Cade's suggested order as far as watches are concerned. On nights when I need to recover spells, I will need a full eight hours of sleep to prepare. Therefore I request that I be assigned to either first or last watch on those nights. I am fine to sit any watch on other nights. The benefit of Cade's plan is it gives us two pairs of eyes and ears watching for danger at any given time, the problem is that if we are each to get a full night's rest (about 8 hours) we will need to camp for half of each day while travelling.

(OOC: Technically, each watch would be 8 / 3 = 2.6666666 hours long. That way, since you sleep 3 of the watches, you can get 8 hours each. This requires camping for 32 / 3 = 10.66666666 hours of each day)

OOC: Not only that, but last watch can always be a bit shorter, but yes, the 4 watch shift works, and the one I suggested should handle spellcasters correctly (At worst, one o fyou will have to delay studying for an hour while the other does.)

Somac: Male Human Bbn 3

Somac enjoys sharing the deer and other food with his new friends. As he eats, the juices drip down his chin, and he thanks Cade for cooking the meat so well.

Not being a mathematician, he waits for the smarter and wiser members of the group to tell him when to wake up and take watch. When it is his turn, he keeps his shortbow ready.

After his watch, Cade gets some sleep. Cade snores loudly for a dwarf. Too bad he's a halfling.
