Adventure: Into the Wild

OOC: Quick discussion needed. Currently I have a daily with fairly big area, 3d6+ damage per target that prones those hit.

Problem? Most of the area is close burst 2 which puts me in the middle of trouble.

Should I retrain it to close BLAST 5 which encompasses good area, does modicum of damage, BUT GRANTS saving throws at +2 to allies within the blast? This puts me into danger too, but to affect the group I'll be on the fringe not in the middle

Also, I'm deciding for my third level power whether one that saves spirit companions (and myself) from damage or one more party oriented. What do you think?

Haruka frowns at Nementah, "Do you have a way of returning here from Daunton? I suppose you must, if you got here once. It's just that we're already on his doorstep; it seems like a waste to turn around and go home first. And what's wrong with bathing?"

OOC: Is the other daily Cleansing Wind of the North? If so it grants a save at a +5 bonus, not +2. I would take that, since a short range prone is sort of not great. The enemy will probably start his turn adjacent to someone. Since we don't have any rogues or Headsman's Choppers in the group, it's hard to take good advantage of prone.

It's sort of hard to advise you on the encounter power without knowing the details, but given that you are a lower level than most of the rest of us, I would lean towards the protection one. You're much more useful alive.

Renquist eyes Rocco, "Some of us, wish you would bathe more..."

"We took a portal from Daunton into Arcadia and then traveled here. We also took a random portal from a pool to another location, so any estimate of distance is lost."

[sblock=ooc] Renquist 2.0 is submitted. Here's his new mini stats:

"I can find the way to the portal again, but that would require some tracking again. I was just answering the question whether we can find the way, not what I think best. Let's go back to Daunton."

OOC: As long as we are getting XP, I think I'll use 2 DM Credits to take Dante to level 5, then 1 more to get him enough cash to buy a new weapon.

"Oh...so we shouldn't have Raiko close the portal with us still here?" Ashir says, looking back at the paladin.

[sblock=ooc]
Ok, I think I would like to rebuild Ashir as a Mage, Pyromancer/Evoker naturally. Too bad I can't send you the CB file... perhaps some sorta space/time flux when we go through the portal messes with Ashir's abilities? Also, I was thinking to bump him up to 7th... [/sblock]

Yeah when we doubled time xp...that certainly increased the value of my credits (not that I'll ever get a chance to use them all ;)) [/sblock]

GM: All right, back to Daunton (following Raiko's rift, that's where he's headed, it's a rift friendly destination!)

Update your PCs, I am going to see what I'm dealing with.

OOC: Dante updated, level 5 now. I'm assuming we're heading to Daunton so I bought some stuff. I wasn't actually thinking about it. Are we stopping by Daunton first?
