The archer takes his attention off the hovering hawk to throw the object. The Fire Hawk sees its chance, rakes at the archer with its fiery talons and vanishes.

The druid recalls his Fire Hawk, Elurin exhales slowly, I need to be calm even in battle, he thinks.

His first foe successfully slain, Ruarc shifts to engage the next. Quickly scanning his new foe to determine where to strike, the giant Ranger goes to work with his axes. His attack with the battle axe misses, but distracts the bandit long enough for him to plant his hand axe deep. Using his great mass and strength he swings the bandit around before pulling his axe free with a wet slurping sound.

"Take THAT, you bloody corpse!" Faustus says as his attack nearly drops the bandit.

Scorpius breathes slowly on the ground.

A terrible laughter echos from the trees as the excitement of the battle takes her. A blast of cold air howls down and carries the swirling vaguely manlike form of the spirit companion adjacent to the archer. A rime of forst covers the hapless archer.

"Scorpius, you lazy son of she dog. Get up! Show him what you're made of."

Ezzy moves forward and her blade collects the lingering frost energies that Mari unleashed. She slashes her blade, but the archer narrowly dodges the attack. After the blade misses, the archer tumbles back and quickly fires an arrow at Ezzy, but she easily bats it away with her blade.

The genasi traces some runes in the air and the archer can't turn his attention from her.

The archer continues to back away, "You don't scare me you freak." he shouts at Ezzy, but his hands are shaking and another arrow misses her, even further wide this time.

The other bandits are less shaken by the heroes vicious counterattack though, the one attacked by Ruarc growls and hisses "The bigger they are, the easier they are to hit" as his javelin stabs into a seam on the goliath's armor and draws a fairly deep wound.

Fautus' chosen foe grimaces in pain and his left arm hangs limply at his side, but he stands against the tiefling with grim determination. "You devil-spawn, I'll send you back to the Nine Hells" he taunts, stabbing with his own javelin, piercing even the tiefling's god's protection.

(roll assumes I can't flank w/spirit, which is what I seem to recall reading)

Ezmerelda gleefully hops back to avoid the trailing edge of the spirit's ice storm, then whirls around, her sword leaving a crescent of snow and frost in its wake, and aims a slash at the archer's back!

(Attack roll 18, for 5 cold damage, plus Archer's speed is reduced by 3.)
Roll Lookup

Edit - Oh jeez, theres a whole new page! Well, my own fault. Won't happen again. Sorry everyone!

[sblock=Interrupt]If you don't mind I'd like to use my Powerful Warning on the attack vs Faustus. It would cause the attack to Miss and give Faustus a free Melee attack against Bandit 3.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Move: Stand
Minor: Inspiring Word on Ruarc. Spend a healing surge and gain an additional 3 hp.
Standard: Clever Strike on Bandit 1. 14 vs AC, Misses[/sblock]

Scorpius blinks, and drags himself to his feet amidst the chaos of combat. "Parry!" He shouts toward Faustus as he sees the bandit closing, a feint no doubt leading toward a hit. "Keep on them!" He calls to seemingly no one, but Ruarc finds his words ringing through his body.

Scorpius strikes out at the nearest brigand but there is two much flare in his slice and the bandit avoids the blow.

[sblock=Scorpius] Lvl 1 Half-Orc Rogue/Warlord
Init: +6; P.Insight: 15; P.Perception: 10
HP: 16/25; Bloodied: 12; Surge 6 hp (6/7)
AC: 16; F 14; R 15; W 12
Skills: Acrobatics 11, Athletics 9, Bluff 6, Intimidate 3, Stealth 9

Direct the Strike, Clever Strike
Furious Assault, Inspiring Word, Powerful Warning
Pommel Smash[/sblock]

Ruarc, flagging a bit after his furious attack and the blow from the bandit, takes new heart at his comrade's words. He takes a deep breath and renews his assault against the bandit, but that same renewed energy causes him to over swing - he misses the mark with both blades.

[sblock=Actions]Free: Healing Surge (Restores 9 HP - Thanks SR!)
Standard: Twin Strike vs. Bandit.[/sblock]

The frosty air continues to swirl about the archer, but this time it lacks the same bite. Mari lets out a wordless shout of frustration.

[sblock]Wrath of Winter (At-Will Standard Ranged 5 ✦ Cold, Implement, Primal, Teleportation) Shaman Attack 1
Target: One Creature
Attack: +4 vs. Fort
Hit: 1d10+4 Cold Damage and you can teleport your spirit companion to a space adjacent to the target.

OOC: any chance an 11 hits? attack vs. fort (1d20+4=11) Will add to post based on result.[/sblock]

OOC: I am confused about who is marked (I have a power that interacts with that). Is there a mark icon on the map?

[sblock=ooc]
Sorry...I forgot to include the "marked by Ezmerelda" in the status block. I try to give everyone their own colour, so Faustus has the Bandit 3 oath'd and so there's the yellow triangle.

The only one who can mark is Ezmerelda so only the purple triangle will be the marked one. I'll try and make sure to update the summary more thoroughly.

Scotley - an 11 misses
[/sblock]

(OOC - Though it was meant for last round, and was too late, can that Frigid Blade roll I made above be for the current round instead? Ez will just shift to pursue the archer and swing again. Also, the roll is 21...forgot to include proficiency bonus. :))
