You don't see any other dangers in the room. Whatever maimed this man isn't here now.
As Venakhad tends to the wounded man, he sees that the worker's clothes hid a number of incision marks. They look almost surgical in their placement, though not in their precision and cleanness. The man stares up at the Kalashtar with wild eyes, clumsily grabbing at Venakhad's collar.
"The Builder, it's gone mad!"
"What?" Maerek interjects as he hurries over. "What are you talking about? Do you mean Thurven? What's gone on here?"
The man starts shaking his head violently, "No. Not Thurven. Not anymore. Now the Builder. It needs more parts. More parts. Had to disassemble..." he trails off, his eyes drifting to his left shoulder.
Maerek looks very pale, but continues the questioning, "We need to hear what Thurven has to say about this. Where can we find him?"
The worker almost laughs, "Find the Builder? The Builder is everywhere. You'd have to burn it out. It out?" he asks to himself. Then he shrieks, "No! Can't let it out! Don't let it out!" He struggles against Venakhad for a moment, then goes limp.
