As Kruk lashed out against the Snake, he watched the giant serpent fall to the ground, limp; the dwarf's final blow was a mortal one.
"NO! What have you done!" the Adept screamed. Stumbling forward, it slammed it's staff to the ground.
"Akneth! Protect Us!" A red energy swirled around Adept and two of its fallen allies. Startling Kruk and Hergunna, the dead snake in front of them rose back to life, as did the Scaleshaper.
The Giant snake lashed out at Kruk with it's tail, but the attack was easy to deflect.
The Scaleshaper, slow to get up, targetted the two big men with its mind. The attack on Kane missed, but Kruk's head rung loudly, causing blood to drip from his ears, and his movement to be slowed.
