[Adventure] Lost Love (DM: Velmont - Judge: Renau1g)

Pis grunts at the blooming pain in his leg and falls to one knee. He turns, awkwardly as a goblin charges him bearing a pair of wicked looking blades. He looks forlorn and distraught until he glances over the goblins shoulder, relief welling in his eyes. As the goblin worriedly turns to see what Pis sees, He feels his own flower of pain as Pis stabs him in the back.

[sblock=OOPS]Sorry, you said we could go after the surprise round, since Talkrai went, I figured that part was over, and I could go.... [/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]Mezegis, no problem, I just did an update to help you and twilsemail, but you post very fast and the update was no more up to date :p [/SBLOCK]

Talkrai starts to shout, "Look out!" but she was too late. She winced as Pis took a couple of hits. She sent a burst of reassurance and healing warmth in his direction while she tried to get a grip on the whole situation. She spent about half a second trying to figure out how this group walked out of the empty rooms they had just come from. Perhaps they came from above ground. She didn't like the implications of that. With a shudder she pushed those thoughts from her mind and pulled her focus back to the situation at hand.

Ryda hears Pis yelp out in pain from the ambush and is glad she never shouldered her bow. “Well, it seems the Lord has finally sent his lackeys to join the hunt, too bad they’ll not find us easy prey.” She then scurries over the bridge to put more space between her and her foes. Knowing Unit 16 likes to be in the middle of the enemy, she focuses on the Kobold squaring off with him and fires a well aimed shot right through the Kobold’s lung. She quickly tries to continue the barrage as she slides toward the far corner, but her aim is off and a trio of arrows fly up into the ceiling instead of her enemies. Susan, I can't hit the caster while he's back in the tunnel, lets try and lure him out. She adds in response to Unit 16.

Pis grunts at the blooming pain in his leg and falls to one knee. He turns, awkwardly as a goblin charges him bearing a pair of wicked looking blades. So from where they came from, your guess is as good as mine... well, not really, but you can make your own guess.
Lol!

“Well, it seems the Lord has finally sent his lackeys to join the hunt, too bad they’ll not find us easy prey.”
LOL!!! Seriously, this is hilarious - I love the continued delusion...[/sblock]
[sblock=ooc]Thanks for the note, LadyLaw! Just so I am sure, the static bonuses you give out are listed in your mini-stats, right? Nothing else is going on?

Velmont: I assume you're posting defenses as we discover them, correct? So the goblin's AC probably isn't 32, but we know a 32 hits?[/sblock]
Unit 16 smiles without turning around as Ryda's predictable rain of death continues. At this point, he's so used to having arrows fly within an inch of his head just to pierce the enemy's lung directly in front of him that he no longer wonders if there might be a small insect buzzing nearby.

[SBLOCK=OOC]As the OOC SBLOCK tells below (and in the previous posts) the defense shown is the lowest result that have hit of an attack targeting that defense.

Also, look at the other OOC block for what happen when pushed into the river.[/SBLOCK]

The dragonborn shot another arrow at Pis, but this time, he cannot find his aim and the arrow fly over the Rogue's head. He then breath a ball of poison that explode behind Pis, englobing him, Talkrai and Jarren. Only Talkrai is unable to dodge and get damage by the blast.

The goblin try to attack both Susan and Pis but as he try it, he fumble and almost lose feet. He choose instead to side step and leave the way open to Susan.

The hobgoblin enter the place. "Let's how much you can soak, human." he then point his staff at Pis and send him flying into the water.

The genasi charge Ryda but Ryda easily evade the greataxe.

The warforged move next to Unit 16 and try to push him into the water. Susan lose balance but successfully get a grip to prevent him to follow Pis into the River, but he fall flat on the ground.

That leaves a large opening at the kobold who stab twice at Susan, both at the same weak spot of his plating, creating a bleeding wound.

[SBLOCK=Mechanic]Dragonborn
Dragonborn: Disruptive Shot vs AC on Pis (1d20+8=17, 1d20+4=15) Miss

[SBLOCK=OOC]It's your turn.

Combat:
We will use Mal's Combat System, which mean:

- Defenses shown in the stats block for enemies is the lowest result that have hit.

River:
- Someone who fall into the water sink at the bottom of the river.

- The Swin DC is 15

- Success allow the swimmer to swim through the water as it is difficult movement as part of is move action. He can also grip himself to the wall. Someone grip don't need to swim and is considered climbing the wall for all combat purpose. He then need to climb on the ground. The rough surface is slippery (you are wet) and unusually smooth, but you can help yourself with the water, so DC 20.

- Failure by less then 5, the swimmer is slided 1 square east by the strong current.

- Failure by 5 or more, the swimmer is slided 3 squares east by the strong current and sink at the bottom.[/SBLOCK]
