Tirial smiles as the enemy flees, a minor victory as two more of their foes remained. She turns her attention to the one closest to Hasifar, as Boruuk appears to be tangling with the other one, with Knoepf's aid.

She nocks two arrows at once and draws the string back, the projectiles fly true and embed themselves in the creature's rubbery hide.

If a hit...until the end of your next turn, the target takes -2 penalty to all defenses. The next ally who hit it before the end of your next turn regains hit points equal to 13.

ooc: Does Boruuk get an additional 5 points healing due to the effect of the Becon of Hope spell, allowing an addition +5 healing to all spells until the rest of the encounter?

[SBLOCK=OOC]Beacon of Hope should work on Astral Seal. Beacon of Hope tells it boost all your healing power and Astral Seal have the healing keyword. It wouldn't work on power that give THP, like Sacred Flame.[/SBLOCK]

Hasifar stabs the Othyugs next to him with his dagger, channeling his spell. So much willing to enter the creature minds, his spells starts to go wild, bouncing to the other Othyugs before bouncing back to him.

Again, Boruuk feels the silver flame enter him, restoring him to full health.

Getting slammed and hearing the screams of the other two Otyugh's, Otyugh 1 flees in fear, its meal forgotten.

Seriously wounded, Otyugh 2 flees in fear.

[sblock= OOC]
Wow! Nobody talked this time. The encounter must be dragging. ;)

Hasifar hits both Otyugh's for 13 each.
Knoepf hits Otyugh 1 with Astral Seal.
Tirial shifts quarry to Otyugh 2 and hits for 27.
Artemus hits Otyugh 2 for 18.
Boruuk hits Otyugh 1 for 13 and escapes from Otyugh 1's grab and gets totally healed by Astral Seal.
Otyugh 1 moves away.
Otyugh 2 moves away.
Boruuk gets an Opportunity Attack against Otyugh 1 if he so desires.
Hasifar and Artemus each get an Opportunity Attack against Otyugh 2 if they so desire.

Tirial 16/45, bloodied
Artemus 22/39
Boruuk 51/51
Otyugh 1 48, bloodied, marked, -2 penalty to all defenses TENT (Knoepf's), fleeing
Otyugh 2 77, bloodied, quarried, fleeing
Hasifar 41/41
Knoepf 34/40

The encounter is effectively over.

Artemus and Boruuk need to roll saving throws. If you fail the save, you lose a healing surge.

Knoepf moves slowly over to a wall and rests his back against it. He then says with a smile on his face, "Well everyone, I think we got a good lead in our investigation." He then takes out his floating lanter and moves it from place to place, looking around for any possible exits or other interesting features of the foul smelling place.

[sblock=ooc]
perception check: 1d20+7 = 24

1. let me know if you want me to be more specific with the placement of the lantern.

2. It might be overkill, but I could use my last encounter power to heal Tirial since she is bloodied. If I'm allowed to do that let me know.
