(Adventure) The Haunted Halls of Stonepike

"I'm of Thurgan's mind, 'ere," Sturm offers, flatly. "Ain' against seein' ye go up there, lass, but if'n ye wish'n meet a bad end, I'd like what it could be where I could watch 'n have a chuckle."

Sturm begins the business of checking the other rooms, being kind to the doors so long as they don't give him any trouble.

Aranel watched Sturm with a grin and shook her head slightly. "I never knew you cared." she mutteredd in a hushed voice before looking to the others. "So this is a 'yes' to the climbing plan?" She was looking for the rope in her pack in any event.
"I just thought, if the creatures live between floors, then it'd be a bit easier for us to find 'em by following." That and she was praying hard to any god that'd listen that there was a similar crack in the treasure vaults ceiling too. Even if she couldn't get any she could at least stare longingly.

"Besides, looking room by room is taking to long and no offence to you all but I need to see a sky overhead and not a floor."

She was just the scout and would scout ahead if they needed her too.

OOC: I guess so. Obviously only if Aranel goes in herself. None of us would force her into such a dangerous and cramped situation.

OoC:We're just waiting for aranel to let us know if she is going up,then...
Assuming not, what is the plan of action. I'd like to be able to jump right on it if she doesn't go scaling the inner walls of Stonepike Manor. A outline would be cool, then I can make a big post to get you folks (and myself) back on track.

[Rurik would just as soon climb up with Aranel if she's going, which is why he spoke the way he did. But thorough is good, too.]

Shifting from foot to foot:

"Aright, then - we check the rooms fust. But whate'er we do, I reckon ta do't quick, lest tha beast have any time..."

Aranel had found her rope and coiled it around her arm waiting for the group. "Well I suppose we can do a room-by-room search first..." she started. Far less exciting. "I just thought following the beast would be faster." She shrugged.
"But if we're not in a rush..." she added in a notably less enthusiastic voice. "Lead on. I'm not quite brave enough to climb up there withought backup anyway. 'Specially as I don't see as well in the dark as most of you."

She murmured something to herself in elvish and shook her head slightly with a backward glance to the crack.
