With a whirling manouver, Ogrin making stabbing thrusts around the corner with both his rapier and his dagger. While turning around, he spots Scun approaching down the stairs and takes a step backwards to allow the cleric access to the creature, as well as to avoid another spray of rock shards.

Scun stood up and reached his destination without losing his balance.

Nezrak moved up behind Rillian.

Ogrin's attacks flew into Golgol's body without effect. His rapier bounced off its hide whilst his dagger managed to pierce its skin but it didn't seem to do Golgol any injury. He backed off away from the melee, revealing an opening for Scun.

Mona invoked the power of her diety. She then moved to a place behind Rasereit and channeled positive energy into the dwarf. Flesh and organs mended at the halfling's touch (10 hp healed, 12 hp remaining).

To the party's dismay, they spied the Earth Mephit's skin mending as well. The wound Rillian caused was beginning to close.

Grinning all the while, Golgol continued its assault. It used its breath weapon once again, letting loose a deadly spray of rock shards and pebbles from his gullet. The air was suddenly filled with the sharp stones and cries of pain.

Rasereit (5 damage, 7 hp remaining), Scun (5 damage, 4 hp remaining) and Mona took the worst of the blast. Nezrak was clipped on his side, but he managed to avoid being knocked senseless by the damage (2 damage, 3 hp remaining).

OOC: I take it, by looking at the map, there is a door of some type in front of the room that Golgol is in? If so, Rasereit will do the following, if not, inform me and I'll reconsider.

Rasereit groans from his wounds, opening, closing, and opening again. "Ahh, what the heck." In a simple movement, he closes the door to the room in which Golgol is standing. "Oy, mates, Scun, a little help 'ere?" He pulls with all his might to keep the portal closed at all costs while his friends can stop and think.

There was a surprised look upon Golgol's face when Rasereit shuts the door. A reaction beyond surprise was yet to be had from the Mephit, though based on the strength of its blows, Rasereit felt that there was a good chance that it could overpower his blockade.

ooc: The door is a stone door with a nested hinge.

Rillian adds his strength to Rasereit's to hold the door closed. "What should we do next? Fighting him in that hallway wont work."

"We could have a little surprise ready for him. I can turn Scun giant-sized again. He could probably hit that thing pretty hard then, or pin it down. Or I could try to stun it with another spell.", Nezrak says. He'll wait for ansvers before casting anything though.
