(Adventure) To Delmon's Aid (Creamsteak Judging)

Troi [Burning] - Init: 16; AC: 16; HP: 0/12; Atk: Longsword +3 (1d8+1)

OoC: The following is all assuming that the burn damage each round is dealt either after or at the same time that I take an action... otherwise, ignore it.

And WizWrm - yeah, that would've been a better idea, don't know why I didn't think of it. :o Hopefully I'll remember that kind of thing in the future...

Troi grimaces in pain - taking a small step backwards - though he grasps the potion on his belt, uncorks it with his thumb, and downs it.

Once finished with the potion, he drops to his knees and attempts to snuff out the flames.

5 foot step away from the elemental, then dowing the potion of cure light, 1d8+5; then putting out the fire (that's two move equivalents, I think, so I think that works).

Thale tries to flank the strange creature of living fire. Swinging his sword at it, Thale decides this that this is the last time they let the ranger in first.

That was Velbrik speaking, not me. Also, my action is the last post of the previous page, lest it be missed.

MW Waraxe To hit: +5, Damage: 1d10+2, AC 18, Reflex Save +4

Torn between protecting the injured dwarf and protecting Troi, Thurgan grunted and moved to the elemental. Trying to attack and position himself between the elemental and Troi, Thurgan took a swing at the elemental.

"Urgh!" Felix seems momentarily irritated with himself "For all the good that this will do! Thurgan watch out this may feel a little strange! Apologies before hand!"

Felix launches into a litany of muttered magic words culminating in the casting of Enlarge Person on Thurgan.

"Try and keep the creature at arms length, maybe you can avoid it's blows!"

OoC: Edited Init for velbrik, sorry Wizwyrm.
GW, The potion is 1D8+1 unless I'm very mistaken.
The burn damage will occur on the elemental's initiative, which is when it was dealt initially. Yes, you can back and down the potion, then try to put out the fire.
Thale had a battle axe last time I checked...I was wondering... you already get longsword as an elf, so you could get a good melee weapon that way (albeit, the same one that every elf has). Why not take Dwarven Waraxe, as long as you are taking a weapon for the War Domain. Or a bastard sword...I wil, as the DM and as a judge allow you to switch, if you like, provided you could afford the weapons, GP wise.

IC:
Thale Charges the Elemental, flanking it. His blow hits by bares of margins <hit exactly...3HP..ack, rolled a '1', sorry...>

Troi steps back and (through pain-numbed senses), pulls forth and drinks his potion <rolled max, 8+1=9 back to 12HP>.
Then, dropping to the ground, Troi rolls about on the stone floor, smothering the flames.

Velbrik rushes to the Dwarf, pouring his potion down the Wizard's throat <6HP>.
The old dwarf sputters and coughs, opening a red-rimmed eye...

The Elemental focuses on the only vreature left fighting it, Thale.
Swinging it's flaming arm, the elemental attempts to catch this weak being of flesh and blood aflame as well, but fails to connect.

Felix casts Enalrge Person on Thurgan...

Thurgan Charges the elemental , slashing at it with his enlarged and strengthened arms <8HP>.

OoC:Note, the elemental is no longer flanked, as Troi left melee after Thale charged.

Keia, I think you have short-changed yourself on HPs...you have 17 listed, but I figure yours at 19. 6@1st, +3/4 of the D10,or 7...+6 for Con=19.

Felix will call to Velbrik to try and reassure the wizard so he doesn't misuderstand the situation.
Following this, and hoping that the reviving dwarf will not quite be able to make out what he is doing, Felix will cast Detect Magic based on the premise that even if the dwarf is friendly it cannot hurt to have some information.

Troi - Init: 16; AC: 16; HP: 9/12; Atk: Longsword +3 (1d8+1)

OoC: Is it 3/4 HD every level after 1st? In that case, I should have 14 hp, not 12; but I think that CS said that it was 1/2. I'm not certain, though.

"Sorry 'bout that," Troi says, "wasn't thinkin' when I came up an' saw th' fire."

He moves to close in with the fire elemental, trying to get opposite of Thale, and strikes with his longsword.

5 foot step, attack with longsword at +5 (+3 w/o flanking), 1d8+1.

Er, that was actually a spell, not a potion. But, since I had originally intended to use a potion this round anyway, I'll just cast the spell now and it will all even out.

Velbrik says, "Delmon, I'm trying to heal you, but my friends are being attacked by a fire elemental. Can you make it stop?" Having said this, he starts chanting a healing spell (CLW, 1d8+2)) over the wounded dwarf.
