OoC: Yes, I rolled 2 HP for a Sneak, he was more severely wounded but still alive, sorry. you did 3 HP with the first shot. It is a little ambiguous, since I had already had him move, thus giving you the Listen check vs. his Move Silently, meaning that he wasn't caught flat-footed...Either way, he's dead and Thurgan can rest assured that he did a bit more damage than he thought.

Troi, Felix and Thurgan advance through the Kitchen, the burning food irritating their noses, though the pot was too hot to try and move off of the coals.
Beyond was a back hallway with a stairway leading up to the second floor. SOmewhere up there was an attic, and perhaps more survivors, or more Orcs...

Rinaldo Charges the Orc, his blade missing the brute...
Velbrik fires again, his arrow going wide.
the orc snarlsa laugh as he ignores these to concentrate on Zoe, swinging the Warhammer in a blow that, while missing her, devestates the shelf next to her.

"Let's move on upstairs." Troi says quietly to the others. "Same routine as before." He heads for the stairway, then waits for Thurgan to move on ahead.

Troi, and Felix move up, Thurgan slightly behind.
Reaching the top of the stairs, you all see that they open upon a long hallway, this most likely spanning the entirety of the Manor House, or at least a goodly portion of it. Proceeding down the hall quietly and cautiously, you make for where the child's map shows the Attic to be located. Ahead, a door suddenly opens and an orc lopes out, perhaps 15 feet ahead. The Orc looks caught uawares, as was Thurgan and felix, though Troi is very aware of things.

Zoe steps away and swings, her sword missing the brute (rolled a '1', sorry)/
Rinaldo manages to stab the Orc in the side (6HP) and the Orc roars at this, his beady red eyes focusing upon Rinaldo in a most unsavory manner.
Velbrik manages to avoid hitting his cimpanions again, striking the Orc <3HP>. The massive thing now looks as if he should have been dead twice over, cut,stabbed, a knife and arows protruding from him. When wold it die?
The Orc slashes the claws of his left hand across Rinaldo's chest, watching in pleasure as the man slumps to the ground <9HP, at Negative 2 now>.
Rinaldo sees two things before his eyes close, the orc licking his blood from it's vile claws, and Zoe's sword taking the thing's own head off.
Zoe, enraged at the turn of events, finds Hyrag guiding her blow as she beheads the smirking beast <hit for 9HP and death>.
Panting at the exertion of the combat, Zoe wonders at her opponant. That was no mere orcish rabble.
