(Adventure) Trek to the Vinyard...

Thurgan - Initiative: +2; AC: 15; HP: 6/9; Wpn: Lt xbow +2, 1d8 19-20 (x2) +1d6 sneak

Thurgan, following his form so far, fires a shot from the crossbow, hoping to catch the orc before he can act. "I'm telling ya, buggers are everywhere ta nite."

If the orc approaches (after his first shot), Thurgan will drop the crossbow and draw is rapier, looking for flanking position and fun stabbing at the orc.

OoC: Waiting on Gnomeworks for an action before the round begins, Keia, sorry.Gotcha, shoot the basdtard :D

The Gameroom

Velbrik examines the dead Orc. He, like all those before, wears the talisman with the long tooth. Oversized jaws, long black talons and a massive (even by Orc standards) musculature mark him as abnormal, as have they all been.

The orc has several rings in his lips ans nose, a few steel, one silver (it may be worth 10 Crowns).

The exquisite Warhammer is obviously not of Orcish manufacture, being possibly dwarven, or even Gnomish.

The Orc has a pouch containing three small vials, potions or oils of some sort?
As well, a parchment is waddd up and shoved roughly inside, a Map...

The Map seems to be of the surrounding area and notes the City, as well as the Roadhouses of the Wardens and several farms. The Vinyards are clearly marked with a black 'X', as are at least two other spots, one a Tower or Keep (at least that's what the Map shows) East of where you are, and the second another manorhouse perhaps.

Zoe and Rinaldo approach and Rinaldo recognizes the last place marked. It is the Monestary of Saint Feragon, perhaps 20 miles North of Orassis...

"The tower or keep on the map, it must be the Tower of Delmlon, the dwarven wizard, as told by the two halflings. He must have been attack too. Now the question, is the third spot have already been attack. If not, we should hurry and warn them of the danger, if it is too late, we should find where the orcs are hiding, so we can at least send a small troop to free any prisoners and clean the region of those fools creature.

But first, we must finish our work here. We needs to clean this place."

Rinaldo start to look at the corpse.

OOC:If my dagger is on it, I'll take it back. If it have fallen outside, I leave it there, don't want to show my presence to any watcher and recieve a bolt in the chest...

"Sure, let us go." Zoe starts. "We can check the map into more detail when we cleared the place and are all together. But Rinaldo, be more carefull next time, okay? I have been trained for melee combat, so leave that to me. Daryn, are you okay? Just stick with us, we shall protect you."

Zoe listens at the door. If she doesn't hear anything, she opens the door and peeks into the hallway.

Troi - Initiative: 13; AC: 16; HP: 8/8; Atk: Whip +0, 1d3+1

Troi wordlessly lashes out at the orc with his whip the instant he sees it.

Attacking the orc with the whip, +0 to hit and 1d3+1 damage.

"You won't tell it twice!"

Rinaldo sheat his sword and take a dart in a hand.

Above

Troi lashes out, catching the orc across the shoulder, causing it to turn and snarl.
Troi caught it with a solid hit, but the thing seemed to ignore it completly...
<If only you had Delmontes Tecnique!>
The thing must have naturally enhanced toughness <NA>,he surmises.

Thurgan shoots the Orc with his crossbow, though the Bolt goes wide and finds a new home in the wall.

Troi is up again...
Orc 12
Felix 11

Gameroom

Gathering the orc's things (I assume, noboday has said that they are taking either the potions or the Warhammer), you steel yourselves for the trip out and (hopefully) to find the others.

Outside, you hear Wolves howling, or so you think at first. Rinaldo and Zoe feel that somehow the sound isa bit wrong. Something sounding like a wolf perhaps. Hastening, you unbar the door, little Daryn clinging to Velbrik's left hand. The chamber outside is empty.

Zoe in the lead, you cautiously advance, seeing no (living) orcs in the Foyer or the hall beyond. here are several doors, though Rinaldo points at one conspicuously open at the end of the Hall...

Troi - Initiative: 13; AC: 16; HP: 8/8; Weapon: Rapier +4, 1d6+1

"Damn!" Troi curses, dropping his whip. He cautiously advances towards the orc, drawing his rapier as he goes. When he gets close enough, he slashes out at the beast with his rapier.

Dropping the whip (free action [?]), moving and drawing the rapier, attacking the orc with the rapier at +4, 1d6+1.

Felix looses of an arrow at the creature whilst trying to stay aware of any other creatures that might be approaching.
