Valahad, what do you think about taking the tiefling alive, questioning? a quick flick of his wrist, and Pok's gray robes seem to glitter as he points in the general direction of the tiefling. He continues in a hushed but serious tone, River needs medical attention as well.

"Leave them be, your foe is me, and I will see the light of a new day, while you will not." Valahad moves closer to the foes as he calls out a challenge to them. The kalashtar stands on the edge of the darkness and his holy symbol glows with white light. "You will not escape, surrender now."

"Val, Faell, kill the Tiefling! I got these other two losers." Sheeva shouts as her bolt slams into the men.

Feall, just on the verge of finding renewed hope in River's whispered statement, groans in pain and frustration when his friend goes down. Sheeva's shout stiffens his wilting spine and he quickly throws a shroud over the Tiefling. Focusing his will, he sends tendrils of shadow into his foe's psyche; the man's paranoia quickly builds to almost unbearable proportions and he glances around wildly for an unseen enemy.

The assassin quickly presses his advantage; he comes out of his teleportation next to the hated slayer of his friend and lunges at the Tiefling . . . sadly, his target manages to sidestep and Feall misses. He quickly steps
back and vanishes in a cloud of inky darkness.

Don't let any escape... Mumbles Pok as he creeps forward, lining up his next spell.

Holding his wand steady, shadows form and coalesce about the wizard, reaching toward the cultist patrol members. The darkness wraps about the cultists similarly to the tieflings shadow attack on Pok, only these shadows are illusory. The black and gray tendrils reach toward anything nearby, curling around it, constricting, killing...

"Leave them be, your foe is me, and I will see the light of a new day, while you will not." Valahad moves closer to the foes as he calls out a challenge to them. The kalashtar stands on the edge of the darkness and his holy symbol glows with white light. "You will not escape, surrender now."

[sblock=evo]
He's not in the cloud of darkness as Feall moved to M9[/sblock]

River holds on...

The man with the blade looks at River at his feet, at Valahad threatening him, and at the drow with her deadly magic. His mind made up he charges the sorceress "Drow b*tch, I'll cut out your heart for that" he shouts as he slams his blade into her despite the slowing effect of the tendrils of shadow and the divine light.

The tiefling looks a bit more panicked and hurls a shadow bolt at Valahad, but it splits apart without harming him. It moves back around behind a rock.

[SBLOCK=OOC]H2 was under Val Divine Challenge, which mean he should ahve suffer 7 radiant damage. I only see he has received Pok's attack damage since last round.

Also, you could add AC 20 to unlocked stat of the Tiefling.[/SBLOCK]

[sblock=ooc]
Added the AC for Tiefling.

H1 was missed by the Blazing Starfall & the Grasping Shadows missed (even if Pok would have used his Wand power). The hp is as follows:
-51 hp at start of turn - 5hp from zone - 5 hp from grasping shadows - 7 hp from Val = -68 hp. [/sblock]

Summoning one final burst of energy, Feall races around the rock to the north in a desperate bid to catch the Tiefling out of position. Gravel flies as he skids to a stop and tosses a shroud as soon as the Tiefling comes into his sight; he follows the shroud with a looping slash of his blade. Again, the shadows coalesce and extend his reach, opening yet another wound in the Tiefling's side.

Sure hope Val can finish this guy off . . . if he doesn't I'm a goner for sure exposed as I am.

[sblock=Actions]Move: H7
Free: Assassin's Shroud on Tiefling
Inescapable Blade (1d20+14=33) vs. AC for (2d4+6+1d6.minroll(2)=16) Damage[/sblock]

H1 is only slowed and taking damage if he "entered" the grasping shadows. Starting his turn in the shadows does not trigger the effect line. 5 less damage remove slowed condition, unless he "entered" the shadows during his turn.

Also, turn forthcoming.
