Nodding to Sheeva and Valahad, Kortauhk slaps his blade out towards two of his foes, making sure that he was keeping their attention. Calling on his storm cloud for help, the goliath's rocky skin begins to waver as he emits thunderous energy, creating a thin barrier between him and his foes. Taking advantage of his enemies' close proximity, the storm warden allows his protective barrier to suddenly expand in an explosion of thunder and lightning that batters and sears his foes' bodies.

[sblock=Actions]

- Free: Mark DB23 and DB12. (remember, Kortauhk's marks give a -3 penalty)

- Minor: Form of Mountain's Thunder: Resist 3 (all); +2 AC; +2 Reflex (from sword); Once per round, when Kortauhk hits an enemy with a melee attack, all enemies marked by Kortauhk take 4 thunder damage.

- Standard: Form of Mountain's Thunder Attack: Close burst 1 attack vs Reflex: 29 vs DB 18, 23 vs DB 23, 22 vs DB 12; 11** thunder damage to all 3; DB 23 and DB 12 take an additional 4 lightning damage from the attack's effect. This boils down to:

- 11** thunder damage for DB 18
- 11** thunder and 4 lightning damage for DB 23 and DB 12.

- Action Point: Violent Bolt vs Reflex. 16 vs DB 23 for 14** lightning damage, and DB 12 must choose to either fall prone and take 5 lightning damage OR take 10 lightning damage. As well, if the attack is a hit, both DB 23 and DB 12 take an additional 4 thunder damage from Kortauhk's Form's effect. If this attack is a hit the total damage of this attack is:

- 14** lightning damage and 4 thunder damage for DB 23
- 4 thunder damage and either A) 5 lightning damage and prone, or B) 10 lightning damage for DB 12

** I forgot to include the +4 damage bonus from Val's Wrath of the Gods in the linked rolls, but have included it here.

"Keep them occupied Korthauk." Sheeva says as she blasts two of the Dragonborn.

River maintain his prayer of warding over his friends and move next to Valahad.

Valahad moves forward, looking back at Feall, as if signaling him to go for the tiefling. The paladin speaks in the mind of Korthauk, "I will keep this one at bay, leave him to me." A spark of divine light appears over the shoulder of one of the dragonborn. Valahad swings his acid blade through the air, and a stream of hissing acid arcs toward the dragonborn near the water, striking in the shoulder and arm, burning through flesh.

Feall draws on his connection to the ShadowRealm, pulling some of its essence around him before he strides with purpose toward the hut and its occupant.

The dragonborn that Valahad threatens decides to do his best to harry Korthauk, feinting and taunting the warrior, giving his ally a small opening. The other dragonborn takes advantage and stabs Korthauk. The remaining warrior nearly falls over his own feet and stumbles away from the goliath.

The herald again appears in the window, he shakes his head "The dragon below will have your souls." the man comments and then begins chanting, suddenly the ground bursts and a blast of thunder emits from the explosion. River and Valahad are sent into river, struggling against the water, and Feall (even though he's unseen) is sent flying into the wall of the building and a minor burn penetrates the cleric's protection. He again disappears from view.

The smoke from the fire creates concealment unless you are west of column 11.

DB18 - aids another for DB 23 - aid another (1d20+11=21) success then shifts

River is pushed to Y10 (save (1d20=4) failed save). Valahad to Y9 (save (1d20=1)). Feall to Q14 (save (1d20=5)) taking fire (3d6=12) 7 fire damage. Minor: drop prone

"Two can play that game." Sheeva says wryly.

"You may want to move away from me Korthauk if the foe at the window continues to blast areas." Sheeva says as she moves forward, darkens the area, and a blast of thunder rips towards the Dragonborn.

[sblock=actions]
I think the initiative order is incorrect and it is Sheeva's turn. She only has done one action compared to everyone else's two. She delayed until after the Enemies and before River.

Move: Move to U11
Minor: Cloud of Darkness
Standard: Thundering Gust against DB23 and DB12 in that order.

Thundering Gust vs. Fort: DB23 23 to hit, DB12 19 to hit, 23 thunder damage

If DB23 is hit, slide it to Y5 (through square V7).
If DB12 is hit, slide it to X9 (through square V9).

If they make their slide into water saves, they are prone next to Korthauk.

Valahad struggles against the force of the tieflings words, his arms spinning before he plunges into the water. The kalasthar struggles at first, as his world is turned upside-down. Once righted he moves to shore. Brushing the water from his hair, he calls into the minds of the dragonborn. "Now face me fools, you shall see the light of Il-Yannah!"

The two dragonborn are effected by my divine sanction. 7 radiant damage if they attack opp other than me.

If KD is correct and both fail save I'll hold off on call of challenge and instead drop acid longsword and draw githyanki silver longsword.[/sblock]

One of the dragonborn ends up in the water also, but the other catches himself before falling in .

KD is right on the initiative order. If you use a power that grants an enemy a save, please roll the save yourself. Valahad will need to modify his action as the dragonborn is in his way. Also, swimming to the shore will draw an OA if you move past him.

OK, I've had about enough of this . . .

Feall sprints up to the window and peeks over, taking a moment to forge a shadowy connection to his target. Quick as a thought, he flickers from sight and reappears inside the building, his great black falchion buried deep in the Herald's back. As the Herald writhes in pain, the young Assassin draws the shadows around the pair, covering them both in Darkness. Twisting his falchion in the wound, he pulls off a little of that shadowy cover and sends it shooting down the blade. As the shadow enters the Tiefling's body he feels it drawing the warmth of Khyber from his soul.
