Sheeva tries to help the group gain information from this man:

"Pray tell me more of this man who looked like me. Can you give me a more detailed description of him? My people are from a far off land and it is very rare to find someone from home. I would like to speak with him and talk of our shared homeland." Sheeva says.

"Yeah, I figured you'd like to hang around with yer type. Well, he ain't much taller than yerself, he wore dark clothes, like yerself, he was all slender like too. Actually, he's kinda like you, but a man elf. He did have himself some sorta fancy shooting device and carried some big ol' sword." Abram replies.

No worries. I read Velmont's first post where he implied that the guy was getting the 5 GP for information and missed his second one where he implied (but not stated) that the money was for the (barn) pay. So, I posted that I would pay my share.

It's easy to do.

Valahad, not sensing any deception in the man, sends a message to River. "Ask him about the cultists. Where he's seen them, how often. Anything else you can think of."

Assuming River passes it along.

"Hmmm...well a group of 'em came through a couple days ago, headin' to the south, ayup. I hid from 'em, they took one a' me pigs they did. They been more viseble last coupla months er so. They said they'd be coming back, promised in a couple'r weeks to git the rest of us, maybe put the town to the torch. Ima plannin' to get me arse to Moonwatch, at least someof them Flamers are there." Abram replies.

[SBLOCK=OOC]You are faster than me...[/SBLOCK]

"The one you met won't bother anyone anymore. They have been handle at Moonwatch." replies River. "There is many refugee already over there. SO be aware the condition are hard if you go into the camp, and the most affordable inns are almost full too. Consider that when you'll decide to move south."

I was about to post a different update that I'd been working on for a bit, but then noticed it'd been a couple hours since I last checked the thread. Happened to pop in before you did. Round 1 DM ;), that doesn't happen too often.

"Zut Alors...I was afraid of that. Well, maybe I'll hang my hope on you fellas to find yer palydin and help us poor folk out" Abram says

The party has an uneventful night and are able to recover somewhat from the rather rough journey so far. There are no roads that lead to the west from Ringbriar so you are forced to travel through the wilds.

Abram had given you a general direction of the next town along the way, but his details were not the most accurate. It'll take some effort to follow the path.

So today everyone needs to make endurance checks, and one of you can make a nature check (although anyone can aid)

"I think we should be a bit cautious and not just head straight west unprepared. Lan, maybe we could serpentine a bit northwest and southwest once we get out of town to the west and you could use those sharp eyes of your to see if you can pick up the trail of this other Drow. Or possibly find an old trail or spot something in the distance." Sheeva says.

Lanharath nods to Sheeva, giving her just a hint of a smile for the compliment. Taking his horse ahead of the others (about 50 feet) so that he could look in all directions without encountering tracks besides his own, he slowly scans the landscape for any clues of the drow's or the palidin's passing through this region. Touching the blue marks on his chest, he can feel warmth from the activation of his birthright that travels straight to his head and then focuses into his eyes, clarifying his vision and magnifying details that no ordinary being could see.

[sblock=Actions] Perception check: Lanharath rolls a total of 33 on his Perception check. [/sblock]
