[sblock=Judge]Eh...I don't think so, CaBaNa. Prone is a condition which prevents movement. So is immobilization. Would you say that you could Expeditious Retreat if you were immobilized?

Interestingly, my copy of the PHB doesn't say being prone stops your movement. Your's might not either. However, the Compendium does.[/sblock]

The diminutive Sivis gnome pops the stopper and downs the vial in one go. Oh! That's better! Pok's mind clears, he feels invigorated, and he begins looking to finish this fight.

crud... Thanks Velmont for the quickness! and TwoHeadsBarking for the "faster-than-the-speed-of-light" service ;) I'll get this rules stuff eventually.

minor action drink the healing potion...

Pok SAVES vs Dazed

Pok now 21/32 and has used a surge.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Cabana, if I were you, i would use your only action to do something else than heal. River have enough option to heal you next round, and many that won't use an item and an healing surge. I would take the risk, but that's me.[/SBLOCK]

[sblock=Saves]Save from mark of healing: Fail. save from River1 (1d20=3) 2nd save from hymn of resurgance save from hymn (1d20=10) Success![/sblock]

River's Mark of Healing flashes as he speaks his prayer to heal the kalashtar. The wounds of the kalashtar knit together, but he is still seeing stars. A second divine burst of energy washes over the paladin, clearing his head. Valahad stands up, no longer affected by the bugbear's dazing blow. As he stands he swings his blade of light vertically up the bugbear's torso. The blade divinely seeks out the flesh of the khyber-spawn, wounding it.

Move: Stand
Standard: valourous strike vs bb1. valorous strike vs bb1 AC (1d20+10=12, 1d8+7=10) I forgot the second attack roll for my oath so here it is: valourous strike vs AC bb1 oath this time (1d20+10=23, 1d8+7=11) That should hit for 11 radiant damage. I gain a +2 to saves until the end of my next turn. BB1 gains radiant vulnurability 3 until the end of my next turn. If that puts him down I'll use divine challenge to mark bb2. If not, I'll use divine mettle to give the mysterious drow a save with a +4 bonus.[/sblock]

[sblock=Valahad's Damage] Evo, you forgot to add the +4 damage bonus from Lanharath's successful Leading Strike + Divine Distraction, so the damage should be 15, not 11. Being that this is the case, is the BB1 dead? I'd just like to know before I take my turn so that I can either oath a different target or stick with attacking BB1. [/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]

If it were me, I'd use an offensive action as well. Pok on the other hand is intent on self-sufficiency, and won't risk death during a mission his house didn't issue.

He has trust issues, and social issues, that won't allow him to believe someone outside of his family, or often times inside his family, will take care of him.

It's not me you've got to convince, it's Pok...

Seeing Valahad completing his oath to kill the bugbear, Lanharath dashes around Valahad's other foe and flanks the big oaf from behind. Creating Il-Yannah's divine link, between the bugbear and himself, Lanharath slides his longsword deep into his foes back.

"You are the forces of darkness and you cannot hide from The Light. Bring a lantern into a dark room and the shade retreats. You all should do the same before we annihilate you!"

[sblock=Actions]
- Move: Move from M12 > L13 > L14 > L15 > K16 > J16 > I15, flanking the bugbear with Valahad.
- Minor: Oath of Enmity on BB2.
- Standard Action: Lanharath CRITS with Pass at Arms, dishing out 25 damage with the power and another 14 crit damage with his vicious longsword. This adds up to a total of 39 damage. (I forgot to include the +1 damage bonus for Valahad being next to my Oath target in the IC roll... but that is included in the totals above). IF: this kills the bugbear, Valahad can shift 1 square as a free action; otherwise, I will not use the shifting ability of Pass at Arms. [/sblock]

Note: Due to Lanharath's Divine Distraction feat, if Lanharath is adjacent to his Oath of Enmity target, all allies gain a +1 bonus to damage against Lanharath's Oath of Enmity target. You do NOT have to be adjacent to the Oath of Enmity target to gain this bonus, but it is appreciated (see below for an explanation of why)!

Second Note: Due to Lanharath's Censure of Unity class ability, he gains a +1 bonus to damage (against his oath of enmity) for every ally that is adjacent to his oath of enmity. PLEASE get adjacent to Lanharath's Oath of Enmity as much as possible, thanks!

River give a prayer to Arawai to heals Valahad before moving into the drakness created by Sheeva. Once within it, he unleash a burst of energy, boosting his ally and weakening his enemies.

[sblock=River]
Thanks for that summary. Very helpful
[/sblock]

"From the darkness comes LIGHT" Sheeva exclaims as she hops up onto the table.

"Run back to your foul lairs." she exclaims blasting all of her targets with the blazing starfire, their flesh burning and popping, fat cooking as they writhe on the floor in agony. After the flames disappear, the creatures stop moving. The smell of burnt flesh and hair assault your nostrils as the drow's cloud of darkness dissipates.

[sblock=Sheeva]
Wow! Nicely played. That would've nearly killed the bowman at full health and halved the bug's health. I'd say 102 damage in a round with at-wills is fairly decent.

The drow disappears from view, reappearing inside the house. He looks like he managed to shake off the dazing effect.

"You are the forces of darkness and you cannot hide from The Light. Bring a lantern into a dark room and the shade retreats. You all should do the same before we annihilate you!" the creature prepares a witty retort, but finds his larynx pierced by the avenger's blade and only a whisper emits from the bugbear's throat as the longsword has pierced through its back and up through its neck.

Bug had 5 hp left after the attack so it's more cinematic this way. Also, forgot to mention to you before, but as you entered the square with the curtain (last round maybe?) you noticed there are a few crates filled with weapons in the room, maces, longbows, and swords...
[/sblock]

The hobgoblin looks at you in anger as the strike team is decimated at your hands. He runs into the house, the drow stabbing him as he moves past, and throws open the shutter. The hobgoblin says "Khyber will be feast on your souls!" as a black cloud emanates from him and envelops all in the area, blinding you. After a few tense moments your vision returns, but the effect didn't seem to cause any lasting damage. The hobgoblin lies motionless on the ground, the spectacle of the last attack draining him of his energy.
