A friend painted a Red and I liked it so much I had to buy it.
This Dragon is over 12 years old ...It was what started me thinking about painting a Dragon in the first place.
It has a deep red with orange highlights....I do not know how well that will translate into these pictures.
It was also inked and black lined.

To me the Blue is not quite done yet I needed a quick job for Ultrishimon and that is what he served as.
85% done in my opinion....I need at least another wash and drybursh the basecoat stage one last time to deepen the blue.
I like him ...he just is unfinished.
The Red and the Black (looks grey due to light) look fantastic and more finished than the blue in person.
Maybe I will try to finish the blue and then take more pics to show you what I ment.
I want the scales to be more the color that the blue barbarian on my favorite mini's thread is.

Enjoy,
Darius

P.S. Glad you liked my Dragons my players like the figures but hate when I bring em out hehehe ....The black one was especially nasty in battle.

Thanks .....glad you liked them.
Hope they help you when you paint one.
I have three in the wings and I think Green is the next color in line.

:D

So I thought I'd post this pic of the dragon post-painting:

Forgive the cruddy image, but it was the best I could manage.

It turned out all right, I thought. I added the base for stability. I am not 100% happy with the claws, and the scales were a bit uneven in parts, but I think it will be a lot of fun at the gaming table to plunk it down in front of the players. :) Thanks for all the good advice everyone!
