Zuggtmoy would be cool, especially if it ties into the RttTEE somehow.

she's certainly one of the most understated demons, not having made it into the 1E MM2 after all.

my guess as to why demons first over devils... there are a lot more devil lords than demons. ;) i mean come on, when you add Ed Greenwood's articles into the mix, it just gets ridiculous. :)

I love those articles but realistically, how many new gamers have read them? They're like what, 15+ years old? Heck, I think I had to hunt them down for the Ares section.

Not sure if "Pazuzu" appears anywhere else in the series.

Probably not.

But makes sense, as in the 30Years coffee table book David Cohen discusses that the Futurama crew kept d&d books on hand as referrence books (because, as he said, god forbid they misspell/pronounce a creatures name ;) ).

Professor Farnsworth's pet gargoyle in the episode is called Pazuzu. It's really random and has nothing to do with the rest of the episode.

oh, duh! and i just saw that episode not long ago.

"I'm actually older!"

*shrug* maybe the concept existed before that? i dunno. ;) there were probably a million ideas that gary and others had which never got made official, or trickled in later.

Mike

It would also be good for anyone running a Greyhawk game, as Zuggtmoy has been active in the history of the Flanaess and helping out her lover, Iuz the Evil. Possibly an article detailing some of what she did might give DMs a few ideas on how to use her and other similar beings to make an impact on their campaigns.
