Just got my Dungeon #125, and was reading through the "Three Faces of Evil" adventure, focusing on how to convert it to Eberron (since I run my game there). I happened upon a problem in the process: Cleric domains.
In the notes for #124, they suggested that in Eberron the Three Faces of EVil would be the Keeper, Mockery, and Shadow. However, that breaks down when you start to consider the cleric domains:
Mockery: Destruction, Evil, Trickery, War
Keeper: Death, Decay, Evil
Shadow: Chaos, Evil, Magic, Shadow
Now, the Greyhawk cleric domains are (ones that characters in that temple have are marked with a *):
Hextor: Destruction*, Evil*, Law, War*
Vecna: Evil, Knowledge, Magic
Erynthul: Chaos, Evil, Trickery*, War*
The only one that really maps is the Mockery. Fortunately there are no clerics in Vecna's temple, so I don't have to worry about that. All that's left to worry about is whether to make the grimlocks dediated to the Keeper or the Shadow.
Also, changing the weapons favored by the various groups will be a pain. At least I don't have to change the Hextorians' tendency to trip with their weapons.
