Airwalkrr's Maure Castle 3.5 OOC

I see you are tagged as "Recruting - one spot left"

Not sure if you were going with 4 or 5 as that seems to evolve during the thread.

Either way, if you are still taking submissions I would be looking at a support caster:

Straight Bard

or

Beguiler

or Ftr2/Rg 2/ Wiz 8
Which essentially bard with a different skinning and flavour

I think airwalkrr is looking for somebody to assume the front-line fighter role, as we have arcane caster, divine caster, and skill-monkey covered.

Rhun - are you planning to have some material components for True Seeing on your pc?

I suppose I could do that. Maybe I should go through the spell list and see what expensive material components I may need.

Can be done

Was there not someone building a Knight?

He proposed interest, starting making a knight, and we haven't heard anything since.

Wilphe, although I would probably be more inclined to accept a melee-focused character such as a fighter, I did indicate earlier that a support character such as a bard could work. Three casters (cleric + wizard + bard or beguiler) would probably be potent enough that you could manage without the melee. A multi-classed caster is less likely to get approval though unless you find a way to make the character buff and melee-oriented enough to serve that role. A fighter 2/rogue 2/wizard 8 could theoretically work, but I'd need to see some build details (feats and items planned at the least) to make the final judgment.

OK, updated Hedowin's sheet -- junked a bunch of scrolls to buy foci and a couple of mc's.

Figured I don't need identify scrolls if I have bought the focus for analyze dweomer, which amazingly doesn't have a MC. Plus, most items can wait the day to memorize the spell, i would think.

He could do a Fighter 1 / Wizard 5 / Eldritch Knight 6. That would give the BAB of a 9th level Fighter, and the casting of a 10th level Wizard. Probably a more "optimal" build than throwing a couple of levels of rogue in the mix.
