These are good. But of course no character conforms specifically to all the values within any one alignment. If you want to use these in a game, you should pick maybe 5 or 10 of them that apply to your character. Prioritize them and THEN pick the alignment that best applies.
For instance...I believe that an individual is responsible for his own actions and the consequences there of. That would make me kind of chaotic. Then again, I also believe in tradition and the rule of legitimate authority...which would make me kind of lawful...
Real people don't fit into 9 nice neat categories...there are shades of gray and even cross-overs that don't necessarily make sense. The only excpetions are beings who have taken sides in the struggle between Good and Evil and/or Law and Chaos. These creatures would be more likely to strictly adhere to an alignment for the sake of that alignment.
In other words...for most characters, behavior and beleif systems come first and alignment is chosen based on that.
