Oh dear god, I'm swooning. I know a certain someone who's going to take that day off, drive down to Louisville, and atrophy in a theater seat all day.*

* - That's me, if you aren't very good at riddles.

You do realize that's TEN hours of movie watching, right? :) I love the movie trilogy, but there is no way I would be able to sit through THAT much, with no activity, no breaking away from the movie, whatsoever.

I'll be picking up the ROTK, and I'll as before be taking about ten of my close friends to it as a christmas present, but that'll be it.

That's why I'm taking a day off of work on Dec. 16. My friends and I will be watching the first two with suitable breaks in between. I'd love to see them all in a theater, but it would be too long, I agree. As it is, we'll probably start around 1 or 2 pm.

You could also go see the extended editions of FOTR between Dec 5-11, and TTT between Dec 12-15, the go see ROTK after it opens. That way you'd get to see them all on the big screen, but not have to sit through 10 hours non-stop.

I doubt there will be no intermission at all. I'm sure there will bea 10-15 minute break between each movie while they switch movies and such. Although I could be wrong. :)
