(Almost) Forever DM Looking to be a PbP Player

Hello there! I'm a DM of nigh-forever status for 9 years, thankfully with players willing to treat me to one-shots and adventures on occasion! I'm trying to explore new ideas and avenues as a player and I have always had an idle fascination with trying out Play-by-Posting in a group setting like this! I have experience in homebrew, D&D, and Pathfinder games, and a dabbling of experience in other systems and titles like "Call of Cthulhu" and "Traveler." As long as you're willing to be a little patient with me as I learn the ropes of Play-by-Post, I'd be honored to trying out being a player for someone's game! I’d read the pbp just to give you an idea how it works and to give you an idea of what the campaign will be when we start. It’s not very long - at least as far as pbps go.

For sure! Do you have a link to the PHB or is it an established system I can buy or access somewhere?

Oh sorry, it’s 5e 2024. I get by by googling most things or referring to D&Dbeyond. Some of the 2024 stuff you won’t have access to but the you can get by just fine with the original 5e as the rules are all the same. Just the classes and some spells are updated

Well I can't say I am too familiar with all the changes 2024 5e has, but I know some! I usually build off of prompts and inspiration from a setting - so if you're running a game and have any material about it for me to read, I'd be totally down!
