Finished myself -- noon to 5 PM. Kicking myself, though. I'd ordered from Amazon, but their shipping estimate was that it would arrive 20 July. Since I'd planned to spend the weekend reading -- the wife is away -- I decided to pop over to B&N to pick the book up.

Guess what arrived in the mail about 3 PM?

I could easily send the Amazon one back (or, for that matter, B&N might take a copy back). Or I might ship one to my father-in-law, who likes the books.

Was on the way home from an SCA event in Maine. Stopped in a supermarket in New Hampshire to get a soda, saw it on sale for $18, so we bought it.

Of course, I haven't read any of it. My wife has first dibs.

Picked it up yesterday

This was one of the few times I thought of calling of a gaming session on account of book, but luckily cooler heads prevailed!

Umm... We were thinking of picking it up at Target on Saturday, but when we got home my fiance found that someone had uploaded it to a newsgroup already. He's reading it off his Palm right now. I think he's about 800 pages in (of course the page count in that format is nothing like the real page count).

I've got to get him to beam it to my Visor.
