Brandishes Luck Token
Wreath of Flames
Positive Effect: The magical sword the Paladin wields emits light for one hour.
Balancing Effect: The sword remains magical, but has a +0 bonus for 24 hours.

“…
The knight, he loves his bright sword/
The Lady, loves her will.

Yep. Shadowdark gives out luck tokens. There's definitely room to work with that mechanic, either by getting more of them, letting them do more things, or both.
How about "allies who use a Luck token to succeed on an attack add your Cha modifier to their damage roll"?

Edit: or "allies who use a Luck token to reroll an attack or save add your Cha modifier to the roll"?

I'm envisioning something along the lines of a Paladin accepting "bad luck" (maybe Disadvantage at a meaningful moment, or otherwise Something Bad) in order to generate a Luck Token for somebody else.

An ability that came to mind (I have no idea about balancing, I am all vibes):

The paladin spends a luck token, thrusts their weapon into the ground before them, and kneels in prayer.
While praying, the paladin shakes of an amount of DMG dice/spell levels equal to his level.

Maybe have a talent on level up allowing to expand it to another PC.
