Am I alone in this?

I like tomatoes. They're always delicious.

However... I hate eggs in the morning. The thought of eggs before 11am turns my stomach (regardless of how they're cooked). But - for lunch or dinner - HOOK ME UP! I'll eat half a dozen.

There's nothing better for breakfast than about 3 or 4 "over easy" eggs with some salt and pepper and a big ole biscuit for soppin' up the yolk. :D

That sounds incredibly delicious!! (but - it wouldn't if I had just rolled out of bed!)

Heck yeah! With grits on the side. With lots of butter and sugar. YUM!

My wife used to hate raw tomatoes. Her mother pours boiling water over tomatoes to make the skin fall off and will not eat tomatoes with skin on them (she is in her 70's). Fortunately, the health benefits of tomatoes, such as lycopene, increase with cooking, instead of decreasing like most other foods).

I don't eat tomato skins, potato skins, apple skins...

For some reason, I don't digest them. I just end up spitting them into the trash can. :\

Ohhh....you mean his mom COOKS them.... :: phew :: I had some Kids in the Hall chicken-lady flashbacks, there.

He doesn't know how to cook worth a darn. Boiled eggs, toast and corn on the cob does not a dinner make.

For years, I've had this weird food habit. I loved cooked tomatoes and any other form of tomatoes like tomato sauce and tomato paste. But I absolutely loathe raw tomatoes. Heck, heat tomatoes for a bit and I'll eat them. But I think they taste different once warmed up and I think raw tomatoes taste, well, icky. Am I alone in my oddity or do other people share this taste?

Sounds sort of like Mrs. Psion, except she loathes and non-puree'd version of tomato, cooked or raw.
