Am I alone in this?

For years, I've had this weird food habit. I loved cooked tomatoes and any other form of tomatoes like tomato sauce and tomato paste. But I absolutely loathe raw tomatoes. Heck, heat tomatoes for a bit and I'll eat them. But I think they taste different once warmed up and I think raw tomatoes taste, well, icky. Am I alone in my oddity or do other people share this taste?

You are not alone, my sisters fiance dislikes tomatoes as well. He will not eat them no matter how they are prepared.

As a side note, I once ate a semi-frozen tomato with a sprinkling of salt on it. Yummy. :D

Raw tomato with salt is very tasty imho.

I like tomatos in general, though. But I know people who have similar things with other kinds of food- for instance, someone who doesn't like spinach cooked, only raw.

The only way I'll eat a potato is if its been cooked, and then refridgerated for about two or three hours. I love cold cooked potatoes.

Mmmmmm... Raw potatoes.... I used to snatch a few out of the pot when my mom was cutting them up to make mashed potatoes.
