I see a lot of folks selling quality ceramics at SF cons. I'd buy a ceramic monster with stats. Even if it was one of a series. A book like this though? Very unlikely unless the monsters in it were cool, compelling and neat. Hmm. Perhaps with a piece of line art and images of the critters from all sides it would be cool. But still, I don't think the addition of 3D views is a different enough hook. When I buy a monster book, I want a monster book with an illo I can photocopy (or print off pdf) to show my players without the stats.

What I think you should do is take the same idea, sculpted monsters of the clay kind, photographed into a story, and apply it to a childrens tale or fable. Make a coupla short experimental books, thin tomes, children sized. See how it goes. I can absolutely promise you will find an audience, and still get to play with monsters. Bigguns and little...

Oh! I like that. My girls, of course, like dragons and ogres and the like. I think they'd get a kick out of a book that had pictures of scultures (with terrain and window dressing) instead of whatever is used in most books.
