Amazon UK not delivering 4th ed Dark Sun yet?!

this is odd, I pre-ordered Dark Sun items in January
they were supposed to be released on 17th

I got a note to say the Creature Catalogue would be delayed, but nothing ont he others

20th now, nothing arrived.
Any other sin UK in same forlorn, sandy boat?

A friend of mine has the same problem, and he's now been given a estimated dispatch date of the 31st August for all three books.

It sold out everywhere almost immediately, so my guess is it's a logistical problem.

I can't speak for Amazon UK, but I thought Amazon in the states was typically known for delayed shipments of RPG products upon release? I know they have great prices, but typically faced delays in getting new releases out?

I usually find another means of acquiring an RPG product if I want it very close to release date. Once a product has been in the supply chain for awhile though I have no issues with Amazon.

Amazon Japan sent me the main book (Thank you Lords of Gaming) but the adventure and monster book are delayed. Very annoying.

I ordered last December, and now Amazonjp is saying the adventure is available in 10-14 days, but I'm wondering where my copy is. I thought that preorder meant they actually send it to me.

They are getting really wonky with RPG stuff these days.

You should check out Infinity Games UK. I ordered mine from them last week (at a bargain price!) and got it last Thursday. It looks rather cool!

Amazon UK is normally fine for me with D&D items arriving ok, wonder if sheer demand surprised them or too little stock?
