Anakin Pic from Episode VI

First Post
USA Today ran a story yesterday about the digital remastering of the Original SW Trilogy. Today they had a feature on the slight "tweaks" made by GL. I wont rant about the tinkering with the movie. In reading everything, the changes dont seem as life altering as I first feared. A bit anal, but not too over the top.

Heres a link to a pic of Anakin's force spirit from the final shot of Return of the Jedi.

Also, evidently, Greedo and Han shoot at the same time in the new DVD. Didnt know that.

And for that, I thank you. I'd probably need a CRAY-2 supercomputer to calculate the number of anti-Lucas rants I've seen since 1999.

I, also, didn't know that the DVDs were so close to being released. Good thing I get paid a few days before they come out.

Holy Star Wars Revisionists, Batman!

I've been waiting for the DVD release of the original three like everyone else, and I suppose that the changes will be acceptable. But... I would really have liked it if Lucas would have included the films in their original forms. Bummer.

So now Greedo and Han appear to be shooting at the same time?

What the heck is wrong with just Han shooting Greedo, anyway? It made perfect sense to me as a 5 year old when I first saw it in theaters.

Meh! Maybe I'll just go out and get the first season of the original Trek instead.
It's better than getting annoyed at Lucas for continuing to screw with things that didn't need to be screwed with like the control-freak he is.

Anyone think it's odd now (with the USA today article's video capture) that, of the force spirits at the end of episode 6, two appear to be the age at which they died while the third is someone 30 years younger than when he actually died?
Lucas really needs someone to say "NO" to him and some of his half-baked ideas.

Or it could be Lucas' way of saying that Anakin Skywalker died when he looked that way and Darth Vader was someone completely different.

Finally! Someone who sees the movies as a myth and not a history!
