D&D 5E And Here Is Strixhaven's Cover Art!

It's not just The Wild Beyond The Witchlight's cover art being revealed today! We also have Magali Villeneuve's cover art for Strixhaven: Curriculum of Chaos! Strixhaven is an upcoming D&D setting based on the recently released Magic: the Gathering world, and features a mage school -- as Theros was to Greece, Strixhaven appears to be to Harry Potter!

I like the expression on that gargoyle/familiar thing or whatever.

" I don't get paid enough for this. Or at all! "
I'm pretty sure he and the owlboy are just trying not to look at the TOTAL WANKER who is summoning FIRE in a BLOODY LIBRARY. Rarely have I wanted to slap a fictional character so hard lol. Even the candles seem spectacularly ill-advised given the abundant sunlight.

Particularly the candle that is literally on a pile of books. Have they not heard of candlesticks?

They will go to wild lengths to tell you this in not a Harry Potter IP violation.

They'll gladly cash the checks for the people that feel it is and buy it to set up their Harry Potter games.

Time will tell how HP it is.
We already know quite a bit about the Setting, and while there are generic parallels, they went out of their way to do something very unlike Harry Potter.

I wouldn't be surprised if they reuse it in the Feywild book as Hsiao. But they are certainly going to be in Strixhaven.

Side-note, I already use the UA for a player who wanted to play a Hsiao.
Hsiao and the Owlfolk from the UA have a different number of limbs (Hsiao don't have arms, Owlfolk have legs, arms and feet), and literally nothing in common.
