D&D (2024) New D&D Edition's Player’s Handbook Alternate Art Cover Reveal

Alternate Player's Handbook cover art by Wylie Beckert.

Polygon revealed the alternate art for the 2024 Player's Handbook.

"Illustrated by Wylie Beckert, the alt art cover of the Player’s Handbook (2024) features a party comprised of D&D’s four iconic classes — the fighter, the wizard, the cleric, and the rogue — all gathered around a friendly gold dragon, sharing tea. This gentle scene stands in stark contrast to the mainline Player’s Handbook (2024), which will have a bright, bold cover by Tyler Jacobsen with similar characters posed in the moments before striking a blow."

Finally snagged this… Someone apparently cancelled their alternate cover order at Noble Knight and I swept in and grabbed it this morning.

Sadly, I live nowhere near a FLGS. If people are having trouble preordering it elsewhere, I preordered the new PHB (and DMG) from GameNerdz. They’re still taking preorders at $38.47 for the Alt. Cover PHB:

I’ve bought several preorders from them, and thus far they’ve always delivered what I asked for, and in good condition. Not exactly on the day of release, but within a couple weeks of that. Oh and they offer free shipping if you spend $75. So this time I ordered the 2 versions of the PHB plus some small thing for just over $75.

If anyone in Canadaland want to preorder them at 55$ CAD, here's my FLGS:
I was about to pre order them, but then noticed that you had to go pick up your preorder to the store, they wont ship it to you and I never go to Saint-Foy.

Yes, I prefer to lose the pre order discount than drive 45 minutes in a traffic jam 😅.

That's not bad. About the size of San Francisco and there, no one has to worry about moose or polar bears on the road. (I assume those are the biggest causes of traffic snarls in Canada.)
I wish... it's just they are trying to construct a tramway around here and there's a lot of road work ahead of this. But yeah, we're far from LA traffic, just not used to it.
