OMG! Someone decided to do an ICONS Charlie Sheen adventure!!!

Dannyalcatraz, here's a question, if done in parody is doing this viable considering that Charlie Sheen most likely owns the rights to his name and likeness?

Thunderfoot -
*Slowly backs off* At least I know that a James boy is unlikely to shoot someone in the back of the head.

Felon -
I never get one.. must be a community supporter thing.

Parody is one of the great safe harbors of copyright. Example: I came home last night and my TV was still tuned to G4...which was covering an expo devoted to the adult entertainment industry. Two of the movies they talked about were porno versions of Batman and The Justice League. Their immunity from prosecution was guaranteed by Fallwell v. Hustler.

Which other case ensured musical parody was secure from prosecution? For some reason I keep coming back to "2 Live Jews", but I'm sure it was before that...

B-)

How many of these are awesome band names?

My current theory: Neil Patrick Harris' lampooning of himself in the Harold & Kumar movies was based on a partial account of the life of Charlie Sheen that fell through a hole in time.
