The spell that Willow used was the same one that was origionally cast, just translated into Latin. That is probably what she is crossing over for -- to cast it again (and to bring back Faith).

Yes, now that you mention it I do recall the research Jenny did to find it again. But it is possible that the curse is a tad different all things considered: the caster, the passage of time, etc.

I'm interested to see if she's coming back to restore the curse. If so, I kinda wish I didn't know she was coming over to Angel for a bit. Doh. Would sorta ruin the shock-value.

I'm kind of thinking that's why Willow/Alysson(sp) is doing the cross over. Even with the passage of time, it's still a pretty powerful curse. Might drain Willow a good bit. So the need for Faith to keep Angelus at bay might still be a reason they keep faith around for two/three episodes.

Looking back to season 2 and Willow's recasting of the curse I seem to remember her in some kind of possession state when it finally worked. Plus, she was in the hospital and recovering from injury at the time. Add to that, her recent spells (circa Season 7) haven't exactly gone well and it could be quite a situation.

Plus, I think Wes or Fred could probably pull off the spell. They may just need her for the ingredients and the like rather than for the actual casting. I hope her appearance isn't as predictable as it currently seems...

I don't think it will be. Joss has a way of making these things special.
