Angel 2-25-04 - I'm confuzzled. (spoilers)

As for Gunn,
which Gunn came back from the White Room?
I think the real deal came back. There is nothing to gain by sending a sleeper agent into the group. They've already corrupted him and now they are seeing the fruits of their labor. Now they are going to continue to twist him, I think. I hope Gunn starts making some better choices - he hasn't done much of that at all this season. Man, I thought Wes made some bad calls with the whole Connor thing. Gunn may have him beat by the time this is all said and done.

BTW, why was that in spoiler tags? Just curious. :)

I am sure it was him too, just because of his reaction to Nox, which to me looked like a replay of what happened in the white room. Plus I think it was stated somewhere before that the enity could not leave the room.

Good point. Plus, it would make sense as the White Room contains the conduit and seemingly not more then that as far as we've been shown.

I just want to say these spoiler tags are the worst thing since SPAM (food or email - you choose)

It makes these threads a pain to read. Was typing the word spoiler too much work???

They make me want to type every spoiler I know without warning. Just like those anti pirating ads before movies make me want to download a movie.

If it's spoiler heavy, just hit "select all" for the page.

I'm mixed on the ep, some of it was good, but it just felt somehow lacking.
Couldn't they have made a call, had Fred delivered to teh Pit, and then done the ritual? the demon wouldn't have killed thousand on it's way back, nay?

Why is having an Old One wandering around better than recalling it? regardless of Fred, this Big Bad is dangerous, nay?

I always knew the Senior Partners were mostly incompetent from all the times Angel thwarted them, but how many sleeper agents do they have in this place? Don't they screen? I suppose there's a reason that Angel's screening failed, but I have no faith in Whedon...

It's like the last ep "I suppose you want to know how I got in..."
"not really, we seem to get people in here all the time" (or whatever)

Astronauts vs Cavemen was great though. :)

I chose to use spoiler tags in case my sudden thought about Gunn turned into a story arc for the remainder of the series.

If I'm talking about the current or previous episodes, I'll post in the clear (in a thread labelled "spoiler," of course). If I'm speculating about future episodes, I'll post in the clear, if the thread is meant for speculation.

This thread was meant to talk about the current episode. People might post spoilers for future episodes. Would you want the next two or three episodes ruined for you, because someone forgot to put in spoiler tags? I wouldn't (if I weren't the type to peek at every spoiler, anyway; can't stand waiting for surprises :) ), and there are many people on the boards who wouldn't, either.

Just finished up Season Two, and about to start watching Season Three. There's an interesting bit in Two about Wolfram and Hart's ultimate goal regarding Angel. They want him as an agent on their side when the Apocalypse comes, so they're going to keep twisting I think.

Unless the Apocalypse came and went in Season Three or Four and I don't know it :)

A) Probably, if they'd had more than a few minutes between the time they discovered that they couldn't call the demon back from where she was and the time she died. Even the "really good" W&H jet took four hours to make the trip.

B) Sure, but a single dangerous being is still easier to deal with than tens or hundreds of thousands of people dying outright. A creature can be stopped.
