So somehow W&H have altered everything so that noone but Angel and Lila remember Connor existed. Not to mention putting memories into that family making them think that Connor was thiers. But that is not new either. Buffy's little sister, can't remember her name right now, didn't exist then suddenly she was there. Then it was explained that she was created and memories of her were implanted into everyone.
