I have to say, I am liking this set too. I have actually stayed away from the D&D miniatures, only buying a few (Beholders, Blue Slaads, Bulettes). But it looks like I may actually pick up a few boxes.

The Harbinger Troll was OK but this guy looks much more liek what i think of when I think "Troll" (well this and a diaglo post but I like this one better).

Be patient, young Skywalker. There's still 6 uncommon large minis to be revealed. Chances are the Ankheg is one of them (we have been crying for one pretty steadily for several months, this could have been enough time for it to make a set)

Warning: once you start, you might find that you cannot stop.

Nah, once you go pre-painted black, you never go back.

I still get the occasional metal mini and paint it, if there's nothing in DDM that resembles my character even remotely.

Yeah it is starting to take a nice shape. Personally I keep hoping we'll see more outsiders in this one, ESPECIALLY for CG. They certainly lack a good number of Eladrin.
