Another day in the Tavern

Kat watches the odd pair, elven alchemist and dragonish cleric, with relatively hidden amusement as she finishes her wine.

A glance back at the far table seems to show that the one she was conversing with has taken to the shadows again.

... hmmm... how nice of him to take me up on my suggestion...

Instead someone else, oddly shaped, is at a table near that one. But the dragon-cleric seems to know him, or at least has called to him.

Loriel enters the tavern and looks quietly about. Her beautiful aquamarine eyes looking at each patron before finding a table to sit down at. Her silver-grey hair hangs just past her shoulders, her lips are an odd teal colour, and her pointed ears sticking out of her hair give way to her elven breed. She wears a soft velvet brown dress, that seems to be made of exceptional quality. Around her waist is a soft velvet brown belt which a silver mug with jewels adorned around the base is tied. On her feet are brown boots that reach her knees.

As she walks she fingers the belt and loosens the loop that holds the mug and catches it with her other hand. While doing this she looks around for a table and finds one, not in the back, but somewhere around where others are sitting.

She sits at the table, her back to the wall as she watches those around her with curiousity. Gently she places the mug on the table and wiggles her fingers over it. The mug then becomes filled with sweet white elven wine. Raising the mug to her teal coloured lips she takes a sip.

She slides the empty wineglass back to the golem and nods to him.

"Another glass of the wine, please, BeeGee?"

The glass is re-filled and she hands over the correct amount of payment, known by now, as she takes it back again. Kat sips the wine appreciatively, the house red but still Siani has good taste and cares about the reputation of her tavern. Then she grins over at the newcomer.

"You really should try the wines here... they're quite good and there's a wide range in stock. Or whatever other type of drink you prefer."

"Besides, I've heard the cost of the tavern's equivalent is removed from your pouch if you bring, or summon, your own drink in here."

Kat smiles warmly at the woman as she sips her wine, trying to remove any sting from words meant to inform and not to chastise.

She looks to the woman who spoke to her with half a smile, "'Tis that true? I've never heard of taverns doing such before, 'tis something new to me. You see, I'm very particular about my drinks. Though if that be true, I shall see how their wines are here once I finish with this cup of wine."

Slithe looks to Yuri as he starts fiddling with his potions and then turns back to Gabriel

(In Draconic)"Do you know my Father's Tongue?I don't mind your common, but if you can understand this and are more comfortable with speaking it,as I,then I would gladly converse in the latter."

A smirk appears on the side of his face, but his expression turns to a startled look when he notices Yuri shoot up from his knocked-out state so quickly...and then to curiosity as Loriel walks in.He doesn't even notice Kat,and with all the confusion,it's not too suprising he doesn't.

Once again the Elf puts away his Bottles, and orders more ale. The Bar Golem appoaches and serves him.

"I apologize for the disturbance caused by his actions, he can be a menace at times."

Yuri speaks in a low voice, not to disrupt any other convorsation in the room. He motions his apology to all those in the room, whether he noticed them or not.

((hehe--kinda forgot--sorry. back now! lol))

The drow leans forward and takes another sip of the wine, watching the antics with barely disguised annoyance. He glances towards Kat, seeing that she has moved off, smirks and leans back, watching the others.

. o O(fools)

Kat shrugs lightly towards Loriel.

"It's something I've heard? but not experienced, so I can't say for certainty. But I would have thought most taverns and inns didn't care for outside provender. It's just that this one, well, is different in that the rules tend to be enforced in unusual ways."

As Marksman starts speaking in Draconic, her eyes move to him, recognizing the type of language by now but not the words.

(... hardly surprising given his appearance...)

She nods back to Loriel, "So what brings you to the tavern?"

The glance around has also shown her earlier impression mistaken, and she hides a sigh as she looks pleasantly at the woman.

Seeing that Gabriel is in some sort of a trance (or at least not moving...)Slithe turns to Yuri and starts to speak to him,not noticing that he is still speaking in Draconic

"Are you sure about your potions now?You seemed confused earlier...What do you mean by 'His' actions?"

Slithe shoots Yuri a blank stare, waiting for a answer...Then he notices Kat look at him...

(Still in Draconic)

"Hello miss...did you want something?"

"Excuse me? I didn't catch that..."

Yuri Continues to slowly contemplate about a new formula, then with new inspiration whips out his alchemists tools out of his backback. On his eyes he wears a pair of goggles, his hands covered in thick gloves and several tools lay sprawled out over the table, only leaving space for Slithe and his drinks. Many chemicals in differant viles labelled in an ancient tounge can be seen packaged in the backpack as well as his pouches.

"I might actually find it this time." Yuri mumbles.

"Sorry Slithe, if you would like me to move...Just say so, in common, please."

Yuri begins to work, waiting for Slithe's answer.
