The wolf glances at Seth, speaking directly into his mind:

Is there no way to lift the curse? I, myself, am fairly skilled in herbalism and such as well, but are you sure there is no way to be rid of it permanently. Do you think, I could help. I need to memorize new spells, but if you tell me what is needed I will help how I can. Also, do you think Mordekainen's Dysjunction could take away the curse? How about miracle? Can't you cast them? There needs to be a way to do away with the curse. Are you sure there is no way to be rid of it permanently? I could do that while you examine her, with her permission of course.

She looks to Tarran in his mind, "Just stay here and do what you can to help, if Seth needs you to do so."

As you wish.

Tarran's fur darkens, as his eyes begin to glow yellow. He seems to be deep in thought, as energy plays over him. Soon, he comes back to his normal human state, before resuming his smaller wolf form.

I quickly regained as much of my power as I could, but it won't last long, I merely switched spell complements with my pack brother.

Seth pulls from his book a scroll, and using a minor cantrip, holds it in the air before him. "This is a powerful spell, a Word of Power, which I obtained while on the planes. Using it, I will render you unconscious. The druid will watch as I do my examination, if you wish. Once I am done, I shall awaken you."

He casts the Empowered Power Word: Sleep, and then proceeds with the examination, being studious and clinical, every bit the emotionless scientist. He is neither harmful, nor pleased at his position.

(Using Heal checks, 48 result, to ascertain exactly where you are hurt and how, so that the Regenerate spell he intends to cast can do its work quickly.)

As Seth finishes, the wolf resumes human form. Tarran sits in a chair in another corner, gazing at Seth. He speaks in his young voice:

Well, what did you discover? How can I help? Can I help?

As he works, he responds.

"Disjunction is not an option here, though Wish or Miracle might perhaps undo the curse. However, I am -just- shy of mastering the Great Spells, as I have split my focus between the arcane and divine over the years. But short of that, all I can do is suppress the curse for mayhaps thirty seconds as a surity, a minute at most."

Before being put to sleep she did express her wishes of Tarran staying in the room.

{ooc: For the most part around her heart, the tissue slowly dissolving, then the muscles within her body have a bit of damage done to it.}

Well, thats a problem. I can't cast miracle either, and like you I'm nearly there. Anyway we can learn them? Having her only able to be healed by divine magic for thirty seconds at a time would be a problem should she ever get hurt beyond the power of natural potions and bards.

*slowly wakes her*

"Well, I am done with the examination, you have been under roughly an hour. Your heart has taken major damage, and there is trauma throughout your body. I believe a single Heal should suffice, though I will be following up with a Greater Restoration just in case. The Regeneration I planned should not be necessary, which was my fear concerning its duration versus the duration of our window to work in. The treatment should be safe and effective."

The wolf shakes his head, and suddenly bolts to the door, smashing hard into his own barrier. Once his daze ends, he takes down the barrier, and throws the door open. He gets half way down the stairs before he remembers his companions. He heads back and looks at Seth.

There's an Archmage downstairs! Maybe he can lift the curse! Yes, you healed the damage, but if she should get hurt ever again, she will need to be healed, and bardic magic and nondivine potions are not nearly as effective as the divine. The wizard might be able to help!

Tarran is acting like an eager pup, and he soon realizes it, regaining his composure. He helps Elona stand, and then starts towards the door
