6. Try to DM your players in real life, and assume that your in-game authority translates to real-life authority. Encourage bribes.
My DM jokingly does this. Something odd that I've found that he does, though, is that he calls me by my character's name even when we're OOC. He doesn't do this to any of the other players. I'm not sure if it's because he can't remember my name or if it's because my character's name begins with the same letter my name does.
