2006 was a good year for teh funny. I thought Clerks 2 was the funniest thing I ever saw until I saw Borat, now I'm not sure. They both have their dubbya-tee-eff moments, for sure.

I want to see The Fountain, looks interesting. Not sure about Casino Royale, not big Bond fan, but maybe that means I'll like it more...

I saw some ads for Clerks 2 on TV a month or two ago but unfortunately it didn't have a very long run at the cinemas here in Australia. No problem though. I'll just get it on DVD. A lot cheaper that way anyway. I don't know about the US but here in Australia DVD's are staying level, and in some places coming down in price (to hire or to buy) while movie ticket prices seem to keep going up. No wonder ticket sales are down.

If you're interested in something more serious, and it's playing near you, you should see Sweet Land. By far the best made movie I've seen all year and maybe the best love story I've ever seen on film. Plus, Ned Beatty!

Borat was painfully funny. But it is not for the over-sensitive, easily offended, or anyone over 40.
If think you Bad Santa and Dumb & Dumber are hilarious movies, then this is a movie for you.
