In 2001, a massive strike hit every major city and military installation on the face of the planet. A group of creatures not belonging to no specie that is yet known to man hit all land based targets and crippled the world in a mater of hours. Through the air, Colossal Dragons torched the cities higher targets and a horde of creature (goblinoids ranging from small to huge) stormed the ground and seized the still-burning cities. The adventure will start on I-Day (Invasion Day), June 3rd, 2001, in Lower Queens, New York.
Now, I wanted to try to modernize the D and D core books, delving into those d20 modern books as well. For instance, the class structure would be restricted to non spell-casting classes, minus the sorcerer (who I think would have an exp. Penalty due to the nature of his/her ability). But I wanted to introduce the D and D style of fighting into the “New Era”, but I found one problem….the guns table. I don’t like how it’s done in any book I’ve seen. Now, if you could direct me to a book where the firearms system is different, it would be much appreciated. But if not…then any input on how a new system would be set up in your opinion would be great.
Thanks much!
