SCAG isn't out for another 4 days yet in general stores. I imagine we'll hear about the next item once that's on general release.

Chris Perkins tweeted recently that he had been working on a project codenamed "Cloak", while he is now working on something codenamed "Dagger", which may or may not be the thing he's currently working on with Pendleton Ward (creator of Adventure Time).
There may have been a few other hints - like the mongrelfolk excerpt - but that's about it for now.

The next set of Miniatures for "Icons of the Realms" is going to be titled "Monster Menagerie," and the previous titles have all matched the AP storyline (Tyranny of w, Elemental Evil, and so on). This is probably the name of the overarching story of the next AP, sooo whatever that may mean? The bonus figure for the set is a Treant...

I have to say, "Monster Menagerie" doesn't really sound like a title you'd give a storyline. Does sound like it could be a great miniatures set, though!

I find that unlikely, myself. WotC's been incredibly tight-lipped about their release schedule. I mean, didn't they keep SCAG from us until only, like, four months ago? Edit: No, not even four months--by the time SCAG "publically" launches, it will have been barely three and a half (July 22-Nov 3), and it's been available in print for at least a week already, based on the thread referencing the Reddit posts.

True, but they announced the Elemental Evil storyline not long after the DMG had come out, and they announced the Rage of Demons storyline shortly after PotA came out. So it's not all that unlikely that we'll hear about 2016's first release before the end of the month - or by Christmas at the very latest.
To be honest, I already know what it is, but I can't say anything about it. Suffice it to say that I am super-excited for the next release!
