Resolutions I plan to fail for 2010-

Eat better

Only buy something if I need it

Be positive

Eat better

Only buy something if I need it

Be positive

With those resolutions you are going to fail them. How about setting these instead?

Only eat one bad food per day

Only buy one luxury product a week

Work on seeing the positives in situations

My personal resolution this year is to do a decent bit of exercise at least once a week. I've started well - on New Year's day I went for an hour-and-a-half walk with family. The problem is going to come next weekend when it's down to me to do something. I'm thinking of going swimming.

Set yourself a target, something definite and measurable, and with several small steps. If you want to actually change something about your life, make is achievable or it's not worth even writing it down.

I most definitely need both Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2, so Blizzard wouldn't make me break such a resolution either.

While I'm not planning to fail this one, so far I've decided I'm going to be better about not forgetting to pay my bills.

At present I'm able to afford them, but I just...forget...to pay them. This isn't as bad as some situations, but if you forget to pay a credit card? Yeah.

So, off to a good start!
