Sweet, that means next year I'll be able to play Halo on the table top..I wont have to fiddle around with that clunky xbox 360! haha

On a totally related note, with all the snarkiness, insults, and lack of respect for other peoples opinions, ENworld has seemed a lot more like the WOTC message boards since 4E was announced.

Or your 4E Player's Handbook will get the RRoD after using it for a few weeks. :D

With all due respect. but have you seen the WotC boards lately? Especially the "Doomsday Thread"? We're exceptionally friendly here! Even non-Doomsday thread are looking like that. In one thread, for example, I was mentioning the name "Kithkin" for Halflings (cribbed from MtG)... and I got this response:
OMG, keep your devil CCG away from Dnd. Leave this thread and go take a shower. I'm praying extra hard that they never attempt to bring "the stack" into dnd. :yuck:

The moderators there are hopelessly overwhelmed. I think the situation here is pretty tame! On another note: The WotC-boards have a different clientèle. I don't think we should hate/insult them for that. We should just keep here - that's more fitting for me, at least.

Cheers, LT.

Yeah, I'm glad I took the Optimistic feat as well. It sucks that you have to pay for it with the horrible Happy Go Lucky feat prerequisite, but you can't win them all.

Yeah, even the normally happy-go-lucky Paizo boards have been very discouraging lately (with a lot of people still holding grudges over Dragon and Dungeon). ENW is definitely the coolest (as in, least flame-prone) place to discuss 4e.

We need to frame the argument in such a way that there is a continuum, with anime on one side, and video games on the other, so that the anti-anime crowd will fight the anti-video-game crowd to the death over the future of D&D. And I hereby claim the broadcast rights.

1) Internet.

2) Just as saying "It's turning into Anime/video game", pointing out the holes in that argument isn't "lack of respect for other people's opinions".

1. True Enough.
2. Whether you're of the "It's a videogame" crowd, or of the "You don't know what a videogame is" crowd, you can debate or argue without turning into an insulting creep-fest. You're especially good at this Rechan. I haven't agreed with a single opinion of yours since I joined ENworld, but I've gotta respect the way that you treat everyone here.
