Anybody been watching the new Kojak?

As with a lot of good things in this world, I wasn't yet born by the time the last episode of the original Kojak aired. I have however been watching the new Kojak on USA almost religiously.

Ving Rhames definetly has a certain je ne c'est quoi that lends itself very well to the role, and I like a visual style and the jazz soundtrack.

Anyone else been watching this show?

For some reason I can't into it. I have tried to watch an episode but coudn't get through it. I really wanted to like it.

Then again I didn't care for Monk when it first came on. Not until USA ran a whole freakin day or two of the show that I watched it. I began to like it and now I like the show. Maybe that will happen with Kojak.

I watched the pilot and enjoyed it. However, I haven't watched any other episode since I keep forgetting about it.
