anybody play original AD&D anymore:spells

As far as I can recall, both Judges Guild and Mayfair/Role Aids (company name and brand name) used standard 1st Edition AD&D rules for their products.

The systems and items referenced don't match anything in "basic" D&D (Basic, Expert, Companion, Master, Immortals) either, which was much like AD&D but a little lighter on details.

hmph..... must have been a special pre-press release for me and my friends....could i have made this next table in my mind

Still not D&D/AD&D. And I dont believe its from a pre-press release or whatever. Looks like its from something else, like some of the other posters said...Rolemaster perhaps.

I dont believe its Judge's Guild, because they used the standard AD&D 1e stuff (since for a time they had a license or whatever to do so).

Not sure where all that stuff is from you're posting, but it's definitely not D&D.

I can't speak to the range of "basic/intermediate/etc" D&D that appeared shortly after AD&D1e, because that looked like such a step backwards we never touched it - it was a side branch in the D&D line.

So no, I'm afraid that the things you are talking about do not come from mainstream D&D.

None of the stuff posted above is in any of the basic/expert whatever stuff, PS. And I agree, its not from mainstream D&D/AD&D.

... each side rolls 3D50

Err - yes? Zander is the person who would know, but I don't believe that 50 sided dice have ever been manufactured. In addition, none of these spells show up on a google search for fan-based material (a shame; they have cool names), and despite a fairly complete library of old games I've never run into that marerial before.

I guess the question is: where are you copying these rules excerpts from? Memory, your own notes, or from a book - and if a book, which book? Where and when did you first hear about them?

some notes some copier stuff,i have some inetersting ties with the beginings of D&D the information is real, the book itself was not derived as DMG or PM but one book, that also was black covered with D&D written on it

another class.....(there were 5 special classes made before the material was taken away)

MAZI FIGHTER
- +1D20 hp 1to 5 +3D10 6to 10
- after 4th level dungeons etc +1D20 damage,+1D20 hp recovery(potionsetc)
- only plate and chain
- 1 weapon every 4 levels(newly chosen) +1 attack +1D6 damage
- +4 against poisen,disease etc
- +1 1 traite
- enemies with -5 &or +5 or more,(player)when using 4D6 or more original damage weapons or more +&- don't count(note -# on monster stat was how much extra damage didn't count, and +#was how much refurbished hp a damge)
- +100 gp cost village healing
- magic weapons obtained with less than +10dmg may choose +1D20+5
- -5hp extra a round portal use
- no treasure spells

i have nearly every rule and quite a few spells,if any arguement or interest for these stats are anybody's reticue

I wonder if it could have been from the Arduin Grimoire and related books? They had a penchant for tacking D&D and extending it in (often wacky) directions

Cheers

Maybe PS. I dont really remember that stuff, but the Mazi Fighter above is obviously something that didnt appear in D&D (at least not in anything TSR did).

I'm with PirateCat (when he said "where are you copying these rules excerpts from? Memory, your own notes, or from a book - and if a book, which book? Where and when did you first hear about them?")

Nothing still stands out as being from D&D/AD&D.
